He said he could blade us a small runway. If it is wet like last year, we'll need ski's. I plan on bringing another foamie and maybe a small nitro plane if it looks good.

Keep signing up, I'll have plenty of pulled pork for the Friday's BBQ dinner and potluck!

Me thinks, I'll be able to make it. Calling in morning also. Not sure how much of the "flock" will make it though.

When I talked to the campground folks on Saturday, they didn't indicate that there was any problem with sites or that they were reaching capacity, or anything like that. In fact, they gave me a choice of a back-in or a pull-through site, so they must have additional room available.

Question... We are in the Cincinnati area & working on our summer calendars now. Does anyone know what the difference is, if any, between the Tadpole Rally and the FROG Southern Ohio Fall Campout at Winton Woods in September? We are a mom and dad in our early 40's with a 13 yr old daughter and 10 yr old son - in case one event skews more to families. Thanks!

They will be very similar and in fact many people may be at both. We are also a family of 4 and have always found a nice mixture between families with children to retirees. All are welcome from the smallest pop up to biggest coach. Both places have places to fish, play sets and other things to do. For us it is a matter of sports and school schedules which allows us to do these short local weekend trips during school. We have met a group of 20 or more that all have good information about camping and places to go and see. There has definitely been more kids at the local campouts then the international rally but it is slowly growing, that is one of the reasons they moved it up a week in August because of school starting. You should definitely try one!
