Is that the reason why TOWTA said NO to Goshen this year?

After 54+ yrs, I still have no idea how she reaches her decisions.

BTW, she just said "I'm getting old and just don't like to travel anymore."

Well you could always open up OC's FROG campground and trailer specialty shop. Awning supports and basement drawers made while you camp.

I know. DW just talked me into buying a park model home in Arizona for the winters.

I am already registered for the rally but decided afterward that I wanted to arrive on Saturday, a day early. I phoned the Fairground, spoke to a nice lady who said to just arrive and someone would be able to direct me where to park. No pre pay for the extra day. All she did was take my name and phone number and said she was going to "put me on the list". Then after I'm shown where to set up, to come to the office to pay for the extra day.

So my question to those who have attended the rally before and added an extra day, does this sound about right? Should I notify Bob of my wanting an extra day or does the Fairground office work closely with Bob?

I just don't want to arrive a day early and told "Ooops you goofed up" Sorry.

Nope, sounds like just what I did last year. Just notify Bob (via mail) so you're already on his 'arrive early' list.

That's what they told me too. I sent Bob an email to let him know when we care arriving as well.

Did you know all early arrivals have to work the rally?
Park lot attendants.

Well OK...I guess the first timers have to pay their dues somehow. But you did notice my Avatar on the left right?

You look to be supervisor material.

I figured he was kidding. I needed a chuckle this evening though and just had to play around with it.

I did get a nice response via email from Bob assuring me that it would be ok and he would make sure I was on the list the fairgrounds will be giving him of early arrivals.

Haven't owned my Forest River product more than 5 months now and already I'm very pleased with the folks here on this site.

Can hardly wait for the Rally.

The system is well past 800, I was 861 and that was a couple of weeks ago.

For early arrival, please call Bev or Diane at the fairgrounds. The number is (574) 533-3247. They'll make sure I have the list. They work closely with us and treat us wonderfully. I'll be there on Monday to visit with them about early arrivals and several other items.

Well, after a couple of months of indecision I'm on the verge of deciding to attend. I was going but then read somewhere it wasn't "kid" friendly I decided not to go. We're raising our grandchildren, 13 year old twins and a 10 year old who always travel with us. I have a couple of maintenance items that I'd prefer the factory to deal with and we'll be towing our toad so we can leave the fairgrounds to entertain the kids if necessary.

Will there be vendors present? I'm thinking tire monitors, awnings, surge protectors, batteries, solar, etc. Is there a list of vendors I can access or can somebody give me an idea of what might be available. We live in a small town in Central Washington and although I hate using my vacation time to work on the coach I'd really like a factory tour so this may be a chance to do both at one stop. My local dealer , FR, can do all the above but I like to look at what I'm getting, talk to the installer and make sure it's done right. Plus I'll be there and can supervise the installation, providing the vendors can actually arrange installation.

Thanks
