We are changing our route and using the route SkipnTerri suggested.
Now we have to find a campground in southern Illinois.

Thanks
FYI, we are planning to stay at Camp Lakewood in Effingham, we have stayed there a couple of times and is nice and fairly convenient to I57.

I can take another look and see if production and bus availability allow for adding one or the other.
If there are only 9 Wildcats, I can haul 1/2 + of us owners to the factory - so you won't need another bus.

Thx.

We are taking 46 to 131 that turns into 13 in Indiana to State road 4(right/west) to county road 29(left/south) to county road 34(right/west). Fairgrounds will be on your left(south) side.
This is pretty much the route we took last time we went to Indiana a few years ago and another wiser member on here, think it was Herk, supplied the info a while back.

We came up 65 yesterday thru Louisville - if you are coming thru anytime near a rush hour or if you're not comfortable with construction, I would highly recommend taking the 264 loop that they suggest. We came thru at 10:45 and had no problem, but the construction is massive!

The construction further up before Indianapolis wasn't really a problem - the lanes were split for miles, so it's like you're on a one lane road. They want trucks in the left lane - not really sure why, but it didn't really slow us down that much.

We then took 31 up to 6, over to 15 - easy drive. Looked like some tornado damage at mile marker 208 - that must have been some storm!

Plan Route-- I-57 up to Exit 283 (US Hwy 24). East on Hwy 24 to Hwy 31. North on Hwy 31 to Hwy 6. East on Hwy 6 to Hwy 15 north to Goshen.

Any suggestions on this route for a few campgrounds?
We plan is to stop north of Memphis on I-57 then someplace in southern Illinois.
Also any campgrounds south of Goshen fairgrounds the night before arriving on Saturday.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't need to go north of Memphis, take a look at Tom Sawyer's in West Memphis, AR. I LOVE this park - right on the banks of the Mississippi. We'll be stopping there on our way home. You might also look at Camp Lakewood in Effingham, IL - we've never been but are stopping on our way home based on reviews and recommendations on here.

I took this this morning w/ no traffic or construction. Just a few buggies to dodge.

I-69 to I-80 WB (Toll ) and get off at exit #107 to IN-13S through Middlebury. Then west on IN-4W to left on Blackport drive. This will take you right to the fairground.
