I would like one of the moderators switch this to a new THREAD called the way home. I will start. I left this morning after all the great work FR did for me. Well here is the story, I left and came to Lancaster Ohio for the night. Well they have one lane and it is a concrete road. I was slowed to 15 mph because I wouldn't hit the holes and blow a tire. Well still I got to Lancaster, Went in to open my slides and I said something doesn't look right. Well the holes are so bad in the road that it ripped my Island right out of the floor, ripped my linoleum. I got it back in place and covered the ripps. DO NOT TAKE THE BY-PASS around Columbus OHIO. 15 mphs and there is no way to miss these 8" deep holes. So everyone be careful on your way home. If you are going South it would be better to go through the city. Just a word of warning. I had at least 50 cars behind me but couldn't do anything no where to pull off. On the news right now they have 270 closed down a truck caught on fire. So safe travels to all and I hope no one has problems......

Sorry to hear about your problems Glen. I haven't taken that by pass for a few years because of the condition and construction. Maybe you should head back to Goshen to get your stuff fixed!

Sitting outside and I swear I saw Turbs driving by on Frog Bob's golf cart. Frog Bob and Cindy were in hot pursuit I thought I was seeing a rerun of "Smokey and the Bandit".

Been a great week. Met some really nice people and can't say enough about the Forest River repair crew. And especially Bob & Cindy. You do one hell of a shindig. For the size of this event it goes off really well. There will be glitches with anything this size but from what I saw they were minor and infrequent. And the food. As they say, if you go away hungry it's your own fault. Plan on coming back even if we don't need repairs.

The RV/MH Hall of Fame/Das Dutch Eisenhaus Tour was a blast. Saw the beginnings of the RV lifestyle in "rigs" designed by visionaries. Dinner followed by the weekly car show at Eisenhaus was packed with lots of different types of cars & trucks.

That is what my wife said over the phone, her first word was you didn't break that new stain glass window did you? I said NO and I will just screw the island back in place which I did. I left at 6:30 am and got here at 3:30 PM. I found 6 1" screws holding that island and sink in only. All repaired now already. I can not say enough about DO NOT TAKE THE BY-PASS SOUTH..... besides I will be at OC'S Saturday, for Ham and Bean's Frankie is making for me, That's all the commission I need for selling brackets for my old friend. Once again SAFE travels home to everyone...
