Bob, I can't imagine that the door on your Rockwood 5er and my Rockwood Windjammer are different, and I bought a keyless entry door handle/lock mechanism at Goshen last summer. It was a VERY TIGHT fit to get it in...in fact, I made one of the guys from Lippert come outside and install it for me...but it is in and working fine.



I'd suggest you try again this summer.

On my Flagstaff the problem wasn't too tight, it was too loose. The new handle was 1" shorter than the old one, so there would have been a gap.

Note that Arrow Distributing, who was with us last year, is a wholesaler who specializes in stocking RV dealerships' parts stores around the country. They have a huge warehouse in Elkhart. If you're looking for something that they didn't bring, they're able to run over and pick it up and bring it the next day.

I am always amused by the North American Fetish about having blue water rolling around in a toilet bowl and believing that it has superior anti bacterial qualities. It makes money for the brands that have got the public to believe these fantasies. Good old chlorinated city water is as good as anything and doesn't cost anything. Anything else is kitsch fantasy! Stick with good undisguised sanitation standards. The only thing the blue does is to hide the fact that the toilet bowl owner is too lazy to clean it!

It's not for the toilet bowl, it's to keep the stuff from sticking to the black tank and kill the odor.

I got these two years ago and they kick butt.
Install was just 50 bucks and they put them on right at our Rally site
They went right on my AlKo axles with no problem...

If they run another special like they did in 2013, I would definitely look into them if they did not come standard on your camper.

True, in my case one bearing was not torqued properly, but the technicians were overworked and dog tired by the time they got to me. Lippert made good and I am a "Happy Camper". I hope to see them there again this year!

Yes these wonderful P&G people dreaming up solutions for problems that we never knew that we had. unfortunately these and the blue water trick do little for performance in the black water tanks but allow us to part with our hard earned dollars on useless remedies.

Apparently you suffer from the same affliction I do; allowing the shampoo to run off my head and down my body.

Guess I'm going to have to start washing my hair (which I'm proud to say I still have) while upside down.
