lucky7rv,

I picked up the 201rbs this past December so only towed it from the dealer in Illinois back to Wisconsin where it sits till Spring in a storage lot. Prior to owning the Surveyor I had a 2015 Rpod 179 and then a 2014 Rockwood A122BH. I do like the new overall look of the surveyor and interior. Regarding my tow vehicle it's probably not ideal but for the relatively flat lands in Wisconsin and the fact that 99% of my camping trips are under 75 miles one way over weekends it will work for now. Ideally I would prefer a F150 truck but my garage is a few inches to short for the truck to fit so hence the explorer.

How does it tow with your Exployer? I have a 2007 F150 Supercab, which originally had P-Type tires on it. I upgraded to LT Michelon tires and it has made a difference with keeping the RIG on the road in a staight line. The P-Type tires felt like they gave a little more Squishy ride.
Also have the 4 PT. Equalizer Sway hitch, which keeps the TT follow in a straight line.
If you just bought your Surveyor, with this Winter Weather, probably have'nt towed it around much.
I have also added some round felt type pcs., where door handles tend to bang into walls when opened. Had dealer add Battery Cut-off Switch, covers over the ceiling vents, add another light on the opposite end of the front inside storage area.
Hope you have some Fun times with your TT, as we have with ours. It is just the right Weight and easy to pull down the road.

Hay folks the thread is about a rally not your new rig. Please don't hijack the original question.

It would be great if you scheduled it prior to or after the Aug 9 -15 Goshen Rally.
That way people can possible come to both especially if they are travelling across the US. Just a thought.

I'm interested in going to a rally in Wisconsin/Illinois area.
I agree, if it's around the time of the Goshen Rally that would be awesome!
