Of all the things I ever lost, I miss my mind the most.

But.......another question (these keep popping into my head)......from looking at the pictures, many of the TT's don't appear to have a TV anywhere near. Do you park somewhere else? Or close to the unit? I leave a lot of stuff in my TV!!

Just curious.

It depends on the area in which you are parked.
Every area's parking situation is unique.

Some areas are like typical campgrounds and you park in front of your rig.
Other areas require you to park within walking distance until all the campers on your row are in their spots (maneuvering room can be tight); then you can park in front of your rig.

PLEASE if you are in a row, be prepared on "park day" to disconnect, follow the parking team's direction and move to the parking area determined by the team.

They will tell you when it is safe to move back.

You will need to leave someone at your camper until your row (and the one in front of you) is filled in case you need to temporarily retract your awning or move your tow vehicle. I know you all want to see everything there is to see right away, but please help us get everyone parked safely.

You will get the official word from FROG Bob.

Unofficially, you sign up for the "paid" tours at reservation time when you pay for your registration. DO NOT WAIT. Paid tours SELL OUT quickly. You most likely will not be able to buy tickets (through the primary market) when you show up at the Rally. There IS a secondary market (bulletin board) where you can sell your tickets if you need to cancel afterwards.

As to the free "factory tours", (last year) you sign up at the rally during registration. I don't know if they will use the same process this year; but I assume they will as it worked great.

Plan on going on your tour. It is unlikely you will get a firm "fix time" from the technicians. If you must be there for the service for whatever reason, there will be a wait list at the FROG table so you can sell your tickets. You can also leave instructions with the Techs to work on your rig in your absence when you validate your service request.

The techs are trustworthy and there have been no issues. Please be aware of the pet requirements. Pets can be territorial and we don't want the techs to worry about getting bit by protective pets (not that they would, but we want their focus to be on fixing your problem!).

To all who will be attending for the first time...I too was nervous my first event. As soon as you enter the fairgrounds, you will be attended to by an army of helpful volunteers. They will escort you all the way to your campsite and help you maneuver into place. I believe they will even park it for you if you're uncomfortable with that. Trust me, you will have more helpers around you than you think you need.

So when you get to the gates, just smile and relax, you've reached the promised land and the rest is easy peasy!

John

Everything you said was true except that. You will be parking your own rig with as much verbal help as we can muster. It is a liability issue.

As most of the sites are "back in", I suggest you get some practice if you need it prior to arrival.

We have gotten pretty good at "talking you down" so have no fear, we will get you safely parked.
