Credit card not yet charged

Should I be concerned that my credit card has yet to be charged ?

I did get my confirmation email, but still see nothing in my credit card activity.

So now I'm starting to read more on the rally and I'm seeing something saying to the effect that you cannot arrive early without notifying Bob and my confirmation noting the date. Is this true? Like last year I had already called the fairgrounds and told them I would be arriving on Friday. Do I also need to notify Bob for this?

You should also let Bob know that you are arriving early

Parking Team: Welcome to the Rally! WOW! That is a nice new Riverstone you have there - and it matches perfectly with your [Dodge][Chevy][Ford] 8' bed Dually!

Rv'er: Thanks! We are excited to be here - this is our first rally, we are first time RV'ers...and this trip is our maiden voyage in our new truck and RV!

Word is quickly passed to all parking volunteers "Great entertainment, multiple backing attempts and potential divorce in the Grove, slot 54 in 10 min!"

The charge appeared on our card yesterday, the day after we received our confirmation email.

How is it possible for the Parking Team to eat at the rally after spending all day biting their tongues to avoid blurting out "Here, let me help you with that" or "Do you want some help with that"?????

Easy, most of them don't eat anyways and prefer lunch of the liquid variety.

Several people have posted about notifying me of early arrivals. If you're planning to come in early (NOT BEFORE Wednesday, August 10), please notify the fairgrounds at (574) 533-3247. They'll compile a list and give it to me so that we can incorporate it into our parking plans. There's no need to notify me.

As for early arrivals for volunteers, we'll be assembling a parking team and will be inviting / requesting them to arrive on Monday for training and orientation to the various areas of the fairgrounds. While we appreciate the help, we were overwhelmed with way more people than we could efficiently schedule and utilize for parking last year, so we're setting up a team and a schedule in advance this year.

We'll need other volunteers for shuttles and lots of other activities later in the week, but only the parking team as early as Monday.

We wait til everyone is parked for the day and then drink our meal because our tongues are a little raw. Soooo looking forward to those famous words " what do you mean the site is not level and I have to back in? "

Lol you must have parked me last year on the Side of the mountain. Back in is no problem but I had to get a running start to get up the hill. Heck it all worked out but I imagine the look on my face when they told me that was my spot was less than enthusiastic. Thanks for all your hard work.

Phil, I don't understand what your concern was. The spots on the hill have the unobstructed views. We'll run the shuttle up there for you this year.

Bob that's perfect. Not nearly as steep as last year. Love it. Heck I will just be happy to be anywhere this year. What a fun week we had. Can't wait to see what adventures we find this year. As always a great job by all that put this on.

Well that strategy DOES help us when we are asked "WHAT do you mean you have no PULL THROUGH Sites?!?"

2016 International Annual Frog Rally August 14 to 20 2016

Also how about the comment we only park in level campgrounds. Well the way I see it if you turn your head sideways a little they're level.

Phil,

Don't worry! I will be sure to park you this year - I have the PERFECT site for you! It is in the new "Executive Condo" site area of the campground!
