Thumbs up

Bob if this rally keeps getting bigger each year, as it seems to be, what are the chances of having one in the fall also? No one has mentioned this before, just thought I would throw it out there.

This one is pretty much in the fall.

That's been a subject of discussion around here. Pete and I, along with some others, have had conversations about doing two rallies back-to-back, one in the spring and one in the fall, and other possible arrangements.

As you might imagine, the big issue is the availability of service technicians, both from Forest River and from many of our component vendors. For the FROG Rally, besides mobilizing staff from the various service / warranty centers, we've actually shut down several production lines in order to provide the level of service that we do, and have had some of our vendors shut down their normal service operations as well.

Having two events a year also impacts the availability of tours and trips that Cindy and I would otherwise be involved with, as throwing in other complications as well.

It's not out of the question as we keep growing, but it introduces a lot of complications.

Hey! I resent that! Those of us who aren't senior citizens are just as capable of losing it. I blame the kids.

Speaking of the kids, they went looking for you and Sue last year but we couldn't find you. Gonna have to make a point of tracking you down this year. (They miss Sue. )

Food for thought. Why not have the spring rally only do mini repairs and save the big stuff for the fall. Later RJD

Maybe he could just save the factory tech provided service for the fall rally, and for the spring rally they could coerce... umm, recruit... yeah that's a better word... recruit some fellow RVers, like the PPST, into providing the service at the spring rally. From a recent thread I just read I hear at least one of them has a knack for plumbing.

Maybe have a few good techs and a squadron of FROGS to help out. We could all learn a few things. Maybe even have some designers/engineers come and help out. Listen to what we have to say get some new ideas.
