Exactly Bob. You never know when or where you'll run into another rally member. I found this guy in FL. Click image for larger version

Not even close, Karen. We still have 24 of the 800 spaces, or 3%, left. Never in my wildest dreams ...

Two years ago we had a little over 500 registrations. Including names, forum names, addresses, extra persons, information on RV sizes/slides/amps/etc., tours, service requests, and several other items, I had a spreadsheet with over 30,000 cells available to hold data. That didn't include the parking spreadsheets and several others.

On line registration doesn't eliminate those by any means, but it makes a huge difference in data entry.

There has to be a better way to set up Reg, like put order info ,personal info and payment info on one page. We could pre Reg for the shipping and payment info. Amazon one click has us all spoiled I guess. Great job you are doing Bob

The problem is they're contracted with an e-store vendor instead of building their own payments system. It's a completely viable solution, as their need for payment processing is probably low enough to not warrant building their own and contracting with each of the credit card vendors.

Yes, having to register twice isn't as easy as Amazon's one-click, but it isn't terrible. Not knowing the capabilities of their e-store vendor, I'm assuming this is the best they can do. Which is still a lot better than Bob and Cindy trying to decipher all of our handwriting (I know mine's terrible) and data entering all that themselves.

Come on. The online FROG registration could not be easier considering many have never done this before. Why are you comparing it to Amazon who does millions of sales daily. This is once a year special event.
Are you registered yet? Only a few spots left out of a maximum of 800.

I'm ready to rock and roll now!
Thanks FROG Bob and all your FR web support staff for a super job.
Has to be much easier than the hard copy and mail in a few years ago.
You guys have come a long way.
Thanks

Considering the entire team of F.R.O.G is only Bob and Cindy, they do one heck of a job for Forest River Rally and hosting rallies. They are so passionate and spend countless hours to help others and try to please everyone.

When the time comes to pass the reigns over to someone else to manage F.R.O.G as well as President Pete Liegel only time will tell how these rallies will evolve.

I agree Bob saved my life, I had already ordered 3 Reg and still couldn't figure out how to complete the order after entering my personal in multiple times. Don't tell me how easy it was I'm not a Computer Geek like most of the folks here

I did this one right somehow...

But.....if anyone needs 6 extra St. Louis Cardinals tickets for July 4, well, let me know. I managed to hit submit/cancel/submit/cancel etc etc etc.....8 times....for reasons known only to a higher intelligence!! So doing this one right after no sleep is so far the mental highlight of my year!!

Just a thought but being that is the 5th annual international rally, I'm sure the Forest River company will be planning some special recognition for Frog Bob and his wife at the rally.

Especially for the folks that attend every year, you might want to consider organizing some type of special recognition for them as well on behalf of the owners group. I think that would speak volumes to Bob and his wife and would be greatly appreciated for all their efforts they have done to make your experience the best it can be. I'm sure Frog Bob will jump in here and say no but you should anyway.

Reading some of the posts, I read unhooking towed cars caused a small backup. Would it be advantageous to unhook while waiting in line. And follow the coach in?

That's better than at the site, but I believe they recommend the best option is to unhook before you get in line. Like in the parking lot of Walmart or something.

Of course this only works if you have 2 drivers. If you only have 1 driver, it can still be done, but you'd have to leave the toad at the parking lot until one of us fellow frogs can give you a lift back to pick it up. There'll probably be a few hundred vehicles there willing to do so.

Stopping at a parking lot on the edge of town (Walmart, Lowes, etc.) and unhitching, would be a viable solution also. That way there is no one waiting on you.
