I received an email titled: CRITICAL! FROG Rally Registration Verification
In that email there is a notation if a service request has been received.
FYI, I received the email 6/18

That e-mail was primarily a request that people review and check their registration information, spelling of names, confirmation that what we showed people had registered for agreed with what they thought, etc. We also noted those service requests that we'd received and processed as of that date.
Most people were very good about responding, although it's amazing how many we got that said, yes, everything's fine, even though we could see misspelled names, missing names and other items. We're still making corrections if we happen notice things that weren't brought to our attention. (Keep in mind that you're the ones who entered the information ). If a name is misspelled on your name tag, we will not have facilities at registration to stop and make changes, but we will have tags where names can be hand written.
We'll put your name(s) on the letter that goes out today, and that will be one last chance to check for spelling errors or missing names.
You'll be getting a call from your division if they have questions about your service request or if they need to make special arrangements with you for early arrival / late departure based on the nature of your request. We are not sending out acknowledgements of every request we receive.
If you simply "didn't notice" the bold, capitalized statement in the letter that, " ALL FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY JULY 1 TO BE PROCESSED FOR PARTS AND OTHER RESOURCES, AND FOR SERVICE TO BE PROVIDED AT THE FROG RALLY" and are just now sending in your request, we can't make any guarantees. Your division may or may not be able to handle it depending on their workload, availability of parts and other resources, or other issues.

Last year when we attended, we got an e-mail from our "coordinator" at the rally to clarify/obtain more info on one of our repair request (bathroom door replacement). If you don't hear from them then just check in with your coordinator sometime on Sunday then watch in amazement on Monday morning as the "Army" of technicians swarm the fairgrounds taking care of your every need!....it is truly a sight to see.

It's funny that I asked this question today and I got a phone call from Cedar Creek today! Sounds like they call if they are going to need to order any special items. For instance, I have two windows that are fogged up and they wanted to be sure they knew which ones they were.

Which begs the question, when Bob and Cindy decide they've had enough, how will Forest River ever find anyone capable of replacing them. Some people really are irreplaceable. Hopefully they will stay on forever and ever.

Service requests
Bob,
Last year the service dept bent over backwards to accommodate servicing for everyone. We were gobsmacked at the high level of service and the fantastic crews that tried so hard to make everyone happy.
Including hanging around on the last day to ensure everyone got away safely on Saturday morning. We did not put in a service request but have a couple of issues that have just surfaced. I trust that time permitting they will be addressed as they were last year. Particularly when sometimes new problems emerge during the rally?
Is there any point in a service request at this time or should we wait and address with service dept at rally?

Indeed, there is a point to filling it out in advance, it gives them time to order the parts if they don't have them. This is the main reason, it has worked the last 4 years, it should work this year as well.

If you really expect to have the work done, I would go ahead and send a request in rather than wait until you are already at the rally. Worst case scenario they throw your request in the trash. Best case scenario, Bob and Cindy let out a collective sigh, mutter something under their breath, and forward your request.
I would also include a very sincere apology for sending the late request and include a $100 bill. Just kidding about the $100 bill…or am I?
