He's really not taking the long way around, washed away on the Ohio River, this was at the tadpole rally the first of May,ended up in (not on) the Mississippi River, hung a right at New Orleans. Paddled across the Gulf of Mexico, found the Suwanee River and then I-75. By the time he gets back to Goshen, his camper may have dried out. Plus all of his little ducky friends.

Peppercatt, there will be representatives from all of the Forest River divisions in the Service Center. Give them a day or so for the dust to settle and for everyone with service requests to check in, then stop by. There won't necessarily be someone from every brand all throughout the week, but your chances of getting someone there are good.

I probably don’t need to post this but I’m going to anyway.

Just a heads up and a reminder that while you’re in Goshen and the surrounding area you are in Amish country. Please pass any horse and carriage or bicycle you encounter with care, especially if you are driving on a two lane road that doesn’t have a shoulder.

Go to White Pidgeon, turn east on 12.Bontragers Surplus in on the right about 2 miles down. You can spend a day in that one. When you are heading back to town,go straight thru and about 3-4 miles on the left is another one that I cant remember the name of. Not quite as big is Bontragers, but decent.

Got the camper ready, hooked up to the truck and ready to go. We are actually going to spend the night in the camper so we can get an early start! We'll spend tomorrow night in Effingham, IL and arrive at the fairgrounds on Monday afternoon. Yahoo!

I hope that's Lake Michigan in the distance, because if it's an ocean, you just might have made a wrong turn.

We were on the approach to the Mackinac Bridge. Had about a 15 minute delay due to Sunday traffic heading south. Crossing the bridge was easy as the wind was almost zero.

Speaking of traffic, how much of a delay is there on I-465 East side of Indianapolis? Should I go around on the West side or stay as planned and use the East side for a short distance? Something about they are working on an exit ramp that is creating a major tie-up.

We just started getting ready to get ready. Here's a pic from two years ago. We found this place down an old dirt road.
