We heard the sirens one morning and panicked because we didn't know where the how could we get there fast enough. Turned out it was a test of the siren!

Was it a first Tuesday at 10AM? That's a pretty standard time for testing the sirens - at least around my area.

I don't remember which day, but it was raining and cloudy so the sirens were believable!

You talking about this year's rally? Yeah, that test came the day after there were tornado warnings on the radio for someplace a county or two away from the fairgrounds. Needless to say kids were scared.

And it really didn't help that I ran the kids into the basement last night when a tornado (or maybe two?) touched down here last night. First time Windsor's had a tornado since 1974. I think my son's forming a phobia.

Yup. I really should have known where the shelter were located, but I didn't. Besides, we were down at the track. It would take a while to get there. Maybe jump under the bleachers?

In the future, I'd make arrangements to put the tiki hut in someone's toy hauler for protection. ......you know......priorities! !!!! 😂😂😂😂

Kelly and I didn't hear any tornado sirens at all, unless they sound like train horns. Lol.

You must have been off the fairgrounds. There is no way you would have missed that siren.

I agree since one siren was on turn 3 and 4 of the race track.

The siren was right by the XLR ghetto and when it went off I believe several of them had to change pants.
