2016 Watkins Glenn Vacancy
Since we have gotten wonderful news that Laura is getting a kidney at the end of June, we will be unable to attend the Watkins Glenn Rally.
We can get our deposit back by calling the campground, BUT:
That would release our spot to the campground (as I understand it). Our pre-assigned campsite is right in the middle of the FROGies (C-4) so I want to know if there are standbys for the rally before I call to cancel.
There are MANY standbys for the campground itself since it is booked full for the weekend.

We are not going to the rally but please tell Miss Laura we will keep her in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

As I said in my reply to your previous post about Laura, that's wonderful news! We will keep you both in our prayers for a successful outcome to the surgery and a speedy recovery!! You will be missed at the Wine Festival!
Did you notify Lori Erkson that you won't be attending? She may have a waiting list for the rally.

She said she is not keeping a standby list.
I wanted to float this to the membership before I "officially" cancel with the campground.

Hi, if you want to attend the Finger Lakes Wine Festival rally, please contact Lou so he can change his campsite for you. If this works out for you, please PM me. Lou is correct - Clute has a waiting list for campsites for the weekend. I do not have a waiting list for this rally because getting a campsite reservation is the first thing to do. Take care, Lori.

July 14-19 at Clute Memorial Park Campground in Watkins Glen NY. You make the campground reservation (recommend you check with Lou first) and pay them directly. After you have a campsite reservation, please call me or send a PM to me so I can email our rally events to you with prices. Hope you can join us! Lori
