Thanks for posting the song, Bill. It does look like it might skirt the coast, which is better for us in the middle and you on the west coast. I expect everything will be fine at Williston Crossing for the Rally. Stay safe everyone, especially if you are in the path!

Only 25 more days until the rally officially starts.

Today is the last day to order T-Shirts. If you have not ordered yet and want some, shoot me a message with you name and sizes you want. I will be placing the order on Tuesday.

For those not registered for the rally, we still have a few spots left.

If you are planning to attend the rally, but have not received the final itinerary I sent by email this evening, please let me know via email. If you don’t have my email address, let me know here rather than PM. I need to be sure I am aware of everyone planning to attend!

Thanks!

Sheryl

Sorry for the noob question- but what does one do at such an event? I just started down the frog path- I guess that makes me a tadpole? What are these rallies about?

Rallys are fun to learn new things about your RV and to meet fellow rv'rs.. Great times and socialization with people that have many miles of travels under their belts as well as newbies that want to learn about the rv life....I went to my first rally last year at Williston and had a great time and met many great people... Learned a lot and took in a lot of knowledge.. Also made some new friends that I have since met up with at other rallys… Enjoy the camaraderie and the good times give a rally a try You will not regret it....

TigerRag here. Dropped off some homemade Apple Pie Shine at the Peach Rally to a fellow Frogger that promised to deliver to the Williston Rally. Enjoy.

Someone mentioned a round of golf, don't know what day they're thinking about but I'm, and my wife, are up for a round of golf. That is if we're looking for another activity for Friday or Saturday.

Will be coffee shopping soon - are there many DECAF a.m. / p.m. drinkers in this group? Trying to plan just a bit

Will have plenty of a.m caffeine (with some Irish on the side Saturday morning for anyone with an empty coffee mug).

We are planning on at least one brewery run on Friday or Saturday for a bit. Anyone know the info on the bicycle ride in Hawthorne park?

If you are interested in biking the Hawthorne Trail you will need to bring your own bike. I can give you the information for where to start the trail. You can either start in Gainesville or you can start at the half way point and head toward Gainesville, return to the halfway point, or you can head toward Hawthorne and return. I find the trip from half way to Gainesville the prettier and more hilly, winding path. You can stop at a few over looks to Payne’s Prairie on that stretch as well.

Just sent out an email for those arriving prior to Thursday the 26th about the early bird dinner so please check your email for details.

Also, I am sad to report the campground will not have the pool renovation completed before the rally starts

One week left, wow

See everybody soon.
