Do you all have an award for “most creative “ fresh water connection and sewer? Large campground and not a lot of connections I guessing

No need to be quite as creative as you might think. There are about 225 permanent sites, all with water and power and most with sewer. Some of these, especially around the stage in the track infield, require some planning since a few folks will be blocked in. Mike, Lou, and Rennie have worked that out pretty well over the years, but there is a little creativity involved.

The temporary sites have 30-amp power and water, and you generally back right up to the line of hookups and reach easily.

Dinner wasn't too shabby either. Great roast beef and ribs!
Amen! I can't tell you how pleased I was with the parking and registration teams. To me, those are the two most important functions in the entire process. They set the tone with a smile, a warm welcome, courteous and efficient procedures, and answers to questions.

The entire parking team, headed by Mike Byrne, Lou Amadio, and Ruth Cox-Crofoot performed nearly flawlessly. Cindy and her registration team provided a great atmosphere with their smiles, pink shirts, rousing welcomes (especially for first-timers) and explanations of what to expect.

Almost all of those with special needs let us know when they registered so that we could accommodate them. Groups that wanted to park together almost all let us know in advance and arrived together so that we could hobo-park them side by side. This is exactly what we asked, and it goes a long way toward a smooth operation.

About a third of the parking and volunteer teams were participating for the first time, including some who are first-timers at the FROG Rally. We love having a mix of experience and new enthusiasm. More first-time volunteers are on the golf cart shuttle team, helping in the FROG office, setting out desserts for dinner, and a lot more.

Volunteers are the lifeline of this event, and we appreciate them more than I can say.

This is going to be a terrific week!
