Shhhhhh....here's the real scoop: The Zip Line is a figment of Cznedy's imagination. Lightening struck the steel plate in his head one night, and he though he saw people flying through the air. dblr had to do something to get cuz's mind working again, so he convinced him that those "flying people" were actually on the Elkhart County Fairgrounds' Zip Line (which is really a guy wire for a telephone pole.) Since then, Cznedy talks about the zip line every year. He is so convincing that Forbes showed up in a helmet one year to be the first to ride. And that's the truth...and there is even a picture of Forbes somewhere on this forum to prove it.

As far as the Tiki Hut, that belongs to FROG member SYE, who is a frequent contributor to this madness. He and his lovely bride bring it from Michigan and set it up every year - and it seems to grow a little each year, with new additions - and welcome old and new friends to drop by. Can't tell you how it is stocked, as I never touch a drop.

What time do they open doors to enter on Sunday? I am in the process of planning my trip from Florida and booking places along the way. I am trying to figure out my last stop.
Thanks

Shopinful,

As FROG Bob said, you don't necessarily have to wait until Sunday to arrive at the fairgrounds. If you want to come in a day or a couple of days early, that's fine. The Parking Team will be ready to start general parking beginning Thursday morning. Any extra nights that you spend at the fairgrounds, prior to Sunday night, are extra cost. In the past, you paid for your extra nights directly to the fair office. This year, in order to help the fairgrounds staff, you will pay for your extra nights through the registration web site. FROG is simply collecting the money for the fairgrounds and will turn over all funds received to the fairgrounds office. Early nights are $25 each, and can be paid by going to

https://www.eventbee.com/v/frog/even...76881#/tickets

Here is the note that is posted on the web site:

EARLY ARRIVAL

Early arrival begins on Thursday, August 8. If you are planning to arrive early, select your arrival date at registration rather than calling the fairgrounds. If you're not certain about early arrival, you can come back and add that option later.

Will darn you mean I had a custom build set of Zip Line equipment designed and made and not to even talk about the extra insurance my dear wife took out and Cznedy has been lying to me. Now that's a fine how to do for a follow FROG. You just wait payback is coming!! And as for the Tie Hut don't know where all this talk about adult drinks come from, all I have ever found there was nice cool colored water, will maybe a little bit a flavoring added now and then.
