can I ask nicely too? Deep fried turkey and stuffing hushpuppies sound amazing.

So for someone who has never been to a Rally, what should we expect?
What do we need to bring? Catered meal ?

There is a catered meal Saturday.
There's PLENTY to do in the amana proper.
Shops, wine tasting, alot of beer, food, cheese, parade etc etc etc.

So fulltiming we could go from one rally to the next and travel with the next rally in mind. That might be a plan. We're hoping to start traveling in August. First trip will be back to see daughter and granddaughter in Kentucky. Then who knows from there. Maybe the Tennessee rally if there's still room since we can't make plans yet.

After the Amana Rally we are going to the Texas Rally in Kerrville and staying in Texas for the winter. We have a grandchild due in January there. Maybe hit a few rallys in that side of the USA during that time..Never know!!!!

How did we miss the wine tasting last year We drove through all the colonies and plan to revisit them again this year. We enjoyed beer and brats in town -- even though the tent was about to blow over with that cold wind, but we thoroughly enjoyed and look forward to going again! AND we'll keep our eyes out for the wine tasting!

Just go to the "wine store", (wish I could remember the name) and yes you can taste the wine before you buy it. (or just sample, sample and sample.)

FROG Decorations

DW would like to display FROG decorations that almost got blown away last year. Will there be a contest?

Just made reservations. Looking forward to meeting other FROGs. Hope it is not as windy as last year. Cool temps are okay to go with the cold beer.

Maybe we should have a St. Louis night up there? We can eat Imo's pizza, drink Budwieser, watch the Cards game, and complain about the construction on highway farty.

Well, we all know the Cards play in October and I am always up for pizza, but I will draw the line on drinking the Budweiser. Call me a beer snob if you want, but I like good beer.

Budweiser, its what beer drinkers drink when they aren't drinking beer
