Likewise...just happy to be on the road again. Diesel fuel is down to $2.35 so let's travel soon. Lots of driveway camping since the DW blew up the house microwave, can't find one in town without waiting a week for delivery. Fresh wax on the Sabre, jealous that Turbs has a second A/C and hoping for cool fall weather in Amana. Oh, and testing a new cookie recipe.

Start calling today to get the additional 5% discount.... How doesn't like to save money. 15% is a great savings. Just think of all the beer that will buy in the long run...

Lol. We don't work much anymore --but we do work spring & fall. More than likely we will be in the fields.

But thanks for the offer of protection--I think.

TURBS, great news about the 15% discount! I retired and hit the road on Friday, 8/28, in my 2014 Solera 24S. I'm very much looking forward to FROGtober fest with other FR owners. And now, it's even going to cost less! Such a deal!!

I have not even received my reservation confirmation and I have called them twice and had to leave a voicemail and have sent three emails.

Turbs posted that we didn't have to do anything--the park would call us. But then Nuisance posted in #266 that we should start calling. Which is it?

Last year we had Reservations well in advance for the Amana Rally and also came in early. They also had a HOG Rally at the same Time, the staff had a hard time trying to figure out Who was Who! They had Frogs with Hogs! We outnumbered the Hogs by a BIG number! One Bld also had a Wedding, another had a Flea Market, and the Hogs were moved to a smaller Bld! I was the Last Man Standing with our awning out until the Unit started to Tip on 2 Wheels and I had to Call Turbs at 4 AM to help bring the Awning in! Youroo!!

I was told by laura @ amana rv park that they would start calling people that have registered after the first of September to take your cc info and pre pay for an additional 5% discount.

Yep, that was our very first FROG rally and we were surrounded by the Heartland group. Nice enough bunch, but being newbies at the time, we missed being near our 'own.' So, this year we made reservations in MARCH!!! The winds were definitely wicked last year blowing all kinds of decorations from people's sites. All in all, we had a great time and look forward to going again!

Just called the campground today to prepay and was thanked ever so much being they already have over 80 FROG units registered at last count. By doing this, it eases their burden a bit. Now we just check in with them and they'll escort us to our site -- no extra time spent on 'paperwork.' We asked if it would help by coming in a day early and they were overjoyed with the thought.
