Thursday mid-day or early afternoon arrival for us. All the crap Turbs wants us to bootleg across the Mississippi plus that notorious head wind will slow us down. Swerving around all the broke down Chebys causes us to loose momentum.

Well then, Happy birthday camper.
The DW and I are planning on heading that way on the 28th and don't have to be back at work until 5th of Oct. Just planning a comfortable trip come what may. If someone can recommend a nice place to stay along the way we want to hear about it.
We do plan on skipping the path thru STL and cross at Hannibal via I72 before going north into the great state of Misery.

Congratulations to Turbs reference this past weekend's BBQ Cookoff. Now we know why his head is so big......he CAN cook. Be sure to ask him about the secret recipe when he is sober, the ingredients seems to change considerably after a few 16oz curls.
