I think this was the best Frog-Tober Fest yet. Great time, great friends, great food & the best weather so far. Thanks Turbs and all of your helpers for all you do to make this rally a success.

It sure is lonely here. I think there are only 2-3 FROGS still here.
We too had a great time and TURBS is to be commended for his hard work as he provided us with a great FROG Rally. One of the best. See ya'll next year!

It was very nice meeting you.

As to your driver, well, he is a real hoot. One question though, can you get him to stand still? If he does stand still, does he ever quit stirring the pot?

5er_tom,

The DW and I enjoyed chatting with you and yours. In the coming warmer months when your are within striking distance, we would be happy to meet up with the both of you. I will bring the Glenfiddich or Glenlivet or what ever flavor you might fancy at the time.

I see by the empty space in front of you that Mountndream did leave as well. Hope his and everyone's travels are safe.

We are home and it is time for my butt to grow a couch.

Thanks Ron & Amy for a great FROGtoberfest! We enjoyed meeting new FROG friends and revisiting 'old' ones. This was the best you've had yet!

3RD Annual 2016 Frog-Tober Fest Amana Iowa .

The Amana frogtober fest 2016 broke our own record for attendance this year!
We herded, fed and entertained 88 forest river rigs and almost 200 people!
Rigs ranging from motor homes to r-pods from all over the United States including Canada !
We had rigs from the east coast all the way to the west coast !
From Canada to Florida!

Frogtober fest was a great success this year and I couldn't have done it without my helpers!

We got 100% positive reviews!

Friday for the potluck there was crumbs left after we sent the frogs through the lines.

We had 42 frogs sign up for the cornhole contest and everyone had a great time playing!

Dostal catering did a spectacular job with food and it was amazing!
They push about 200 frogs through the buffet line in about 20 minutes!
The leftovers were donated to the local homeless shelter!

The cornhole raffle boards once again were a GREAT success!
Frogs helped me raise just over $700 for the Cedar Rapids homeless shelter! [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15]

100% positive feedback on Saturday nights entertainment from Beau Timmerman!
He sang for three hours then came to my camp site and entertained for another hour and a half for about 16 of us!

This morning after the continental style breakfast there was about 8 or 9 donuts left!

Thank you EVERYONE for making frogtober fest the biggest most exciting member run rally!

And thank you FROG for allowing us to do it and pay for the meals!

Please let me know if there's any questions, comments or concerns!

Until 2017 !

Hope everyone had a safe trip home or to their next destination. Took us about 6 hours and I even got the whole yard mowed.

Thanks to Turbs and his army for putting together this rally. We have attended all three Frogtoberfest's and this was the best one yet! Great to meet so many people and see old friends.

Back home in 10 hours/600 miles and I can testify that Illinois does indeed have a functioning Dept of Transportation. Including the absolute largest collection of orange safety barrier /barrels in the country. If you see orange stripes down the side of my camper it's purely intentional, I was NOT drifting in my lane.

Many thanks to Turbs and his mostly sober crew for yet another fantabulous Frog-toberfest event. Can any other entity in the FROG world, other than FROG Bob of course, bring so many campers together at one time! (I think not) Including those world famous "party potatoes", talented live entertainment and 40 live bodies around the campfire until midnight (yawn).

I've read threads where people in FROG country want to host an event but don't know how get the ball rolling. Simply come to Amana and watch a professional wave his magic wand (empty bottle) and you will understand how things work. Plus you might help us push the 100 camper mark in 2017.

From Dostal catering, to campfire stories (some of which were actually true) to trolly service downtown (just a mile away) for German Festhalle activities and a bodacious pot luck.....nobody does it better than Ms Amy's other half in corn coutry.

As a footnote, Dostal catering might actually have some competition if Cowracer decides to go public with his deep fried concoction of unknown ingredients. Thanks Cowman! I can see it now....Dostal 'taters, Cowracer deep fried stuffing - puppies and your favorite 16oz receptacle. Smear some of that on your forehead and yer tounge will beat your brains out trying to get to it!
