Don't worry about missing Goshen, we passed on it also due to work constraints. Like Cowracer said, it's just a Pre-Amana warm up rally. The real fun times are in Iowa and include less heat & humidity, fewer people stomping on your toes, less density in the campground and Octoberfest in the downtown street.
Of course you also get the largest bonfire west of the Mississippi (don't stand down wind in a flannel blanket), wind tunnel and strength testing activities for your awning poles (30 mph sustained horizontal wind vector), and cows with megaphones to gently awaken you in the am.
The chronic catering complainer from the Goshen rally should find his way to Iowa for Dostal tasting. If that don't please him then he should give up camping.

Bad beers usually occur the next morning.
Fear not, i have a float trip planned on Saturday and I will be doing extensive testing. Or is that excessive? Either way, I can assure you that I will know if beer can be bad by Sunday morning
