I am loving this conversation. If my DW finds out that these weather conditions were discussed by me prior, well..., I am going to have a hand print that everybody will see.

Please do not inquire as to her feelings when her knees and knocking and shivering.

Oh, yea, keep them weather reports coming...

I didn't make it last year but my husband did. I'm not looking forward to the cold weather, but I am looking forward to meeting you and a lot of other folks.

Okay - just for comparison, here is the forecast from Weather.com. The other was from Accuweather. Doesn't look like heavy wind for now.

Well - just checked Accuweather for the winds and Friday night - gusts to 36mph, Saturday gusts to 32 mph and Sunday-gusts at 26mph. Not quite 100 mph though.

Hope my camper isn't near the fire pit. Last year on my second outing, my awning somehow got two burn holes in it - and I wasn't near the fire. Got it replaced at FROG this year.

Firewood makes a good anchor, bring plenty of it!

Hey from one lightweight to another, those moonshine bottles work great....till you start sipping out of them!
I am getting me one of those wool blankets in town this year...and the mittens!!

I could have sworn that I saw RVChick flying around in the wind last year. Or maybe I am confusing the beginning of Oct with the end of Oct

We lived in it for a year, while building our home. When we 'went camping' I had everything I could possibly need! It was nice!

Weather this time of the year is fickle in central Iowa. Might be bikini weather or fall jacket weather next week!! Today it is 88 degF!!! Tornado watch thru the evening.
