I sent an email to Bob, we sent $$ to the campground and also sent both kids to military bases across the country. Empty-nest camping (finally) to the Music City Frog event then on to BamaGanza.

BamaGanza '15 Update

We are now up to 24 Rigs!

If you are planning on attending but have NOT registered, please call the Campground *soon* The campground has 70 sites but some are very close to other sites and we want to be able to have some room between our rigs.

Remember, we are being given a "special" registration window - the park does not typically accept reservations for October until July. So,let's show our appreciation for the special treatment by registering early

It's me, the rare poster.
24 rigs to date is great! But, sure would love to see more folks show up. Here's why, if there are only 24 rigs Bamabob won't have much to do. It we can get more of you folks there, we can keep him occupied. There is no need for a rally coordinater sitting around with not much to do is there? By the way......don't tell him I said this.

Here's a hint: Don't get teamed up with him in the putt putt tournament. He can't putt worth a lick!

The rally sounds like a blast but getting 1.5 weeks off work when the College is in session is a no go. Maybe when i retire someday!! Have Fun!!

Man Brian, we'd LOVE to have ya! I'd try to hold BamaGanza around Goshen time frame but you have NO idea what it's like (heat-wise) in Alabama in July

Well, you'll get a general Idea in Nashville, but at least we will have a BIG Lake right next to our rigs

We just turned 60!

Attendees that is! Thanks to everyone who has pre-registered!

32 Rigs are registered as of yesterday - the park can comfortably hold another 25 rigs so let's see if we can make CSMRetired's prediction of a 100% attendance increase over BamaGanza '14 and get 50 rigs pre-registered!

Remember, on 1 July the General Public can make reservations for Noccalula Falls BUT if we can get 50 rigs registered, we will have the whole campground to ourselves!

For your convenience, I have provided registration info, a link to a website with campground photos and a map of the RV park below.
============================================

Greetings Fellow FROGs!

FEB 21, 2015:
6 Actual (Anne-Marie) and I went to the Noccalula Falls campground today. It could not have been a more perfect outing! The skies were blue, the wind died down, and the temperature got up to 60Ί!

I have uploaded some photos of our day trip to the campground at:

http://robertsreflections.smugmug.com/BamaGanza-2015-Info/

The photos are captioned so you will know what you are looking at and the photo gallery is social-media enabled so you can comment on the photos if you so desire.

I have uploaded a PDF of the Campground map, and some local information to the gallery as well.

APRIL 29:

Let's Get Ready to Rally!

Good Afternoon to all FROGs!

The manager of Noccalula Falls campground, Ms. Kaila Fair, has graciously agreed to open registration early for BamaGanza '15! So, let's show our support to this fine campground by reserving your site for the rally as soon as you can call the campground! We expect the campground to fill quickly, so don't delay!

The campground will allow early arrival (as early as 12 Oct) and late departure (they close in mid-Dec).
In order for them to accept your registration, you need to follow these steps:
  • Take a Look at the attached maps of the campground and select the site you want to reserve (you might want to have 1 or 2 other sites selected as a backup just in case your site is already taken!)
  • BTW, C5 & P5 are already reserved for Anne-Marie, Bob, Sandy & Dennis so we can be central to the rally.
  • Sites D13,14,16,17, C8, and P2-4 are reserved for the RV Dealer Demo Rigs
  • Consider your Rig size and take note of the sites that are marked 25' and under! (They are marked with a hot pink S)
  • Please consider your fellow campers and size your desired site to your rig (does your R-Pod really need that 50' pull through site?
  • Call the Noccalula Falls Campground at: 256-543-7412 - ask for Kaila Fair - she is working today and waiting for you to call.
  • Tell them that you are with the FROG GROUP and would like to register for a campsite.
  • Let them know if you are arriving early or staying late (Bob & Anne-Marie will be on site 11 Oct; Dennis and Sandy 13 Oct)
  • They will bill you for one night at the FROG rate of $21.17 (50 AMP) or $16.13(30 Amp)
  • Balance will be due on arrival
  • After you register at the campground, please drop us a email and let us know what site you are on and when you will be arriving and departing (bob AT williamsnet DOT org)

My thought on this is, if the Goshen Rally can get sold out with over740 rigs, we should be able to get 50 rigs at the BamaGanza ’15. If you missed last year's rally, we had a great time, sitting around the fire telling about our adventures, learning about the Goshen Rally. We had a seminar of sorts, learned about products, and different mods you can do, helpful hints, there was a lot of useful information. We had a little swap meet, and a lot of great food. It was great to be able to put faces with names.
