*Grumble* ONLY way I can get reliable WIFI at Goshen is to get up at 6 AM

SO it looks like Bamaganza is full! ( I have email in to Kaila this morning to confirm this).

More tonight (or tomorrow morning )

Now off to park 20 hundred RVs

(Oh, and I guess this Rally will have never happened - try as I might, I cannot post pictures!)

So happy for you BamaBob and all those that have been doing the footwork on the BamaGanza!

It should be a real humdinger of a time at the Falls!

OK for us newbies: How is the food thing handled? When I fix a dish, how many should it feed? How many meals should I plan to fix for the gathering? What tips can everyone tell us about to make this first time more fun? Peppercatt2@gmail.com

Finally, how are some of you getting that map of the states with the places marked where you have been? I love it!!!

There is a website you can go to in order to create a travel map, I do apologize for not having a link. I did a search a while back and found One, just have never posted in my signature.

I know this doesn't help.....but it's almost a start

I have spoke to and met a lot of folks that want to attend Bamaganza '15 in October.
I 'think' don't quote me.....the rally is booked up or just at booked up. Please do not let that discourage you. As I have mentioned in a previous post, keep in touch with Noccula Falls campground in Gadsden Alabama. We would love to have the park full of FROG members, as one gentleman mentioned to me tonight "we own the the campground"

If you do want to attend a great rally and have a great weekend, if you haven't registered....please continue to keep an eye on this thread and keep in touch with Noccula Falls for openings.
If you have registered and have not notified BamaBob....please send him an email at
bob@williamsnet.org

Bamaganza '15 is right around the corner

This my answer to a first time rally attendee. I thought I would post it if in case anyone else needed the information. The questions were:

What do I prepare for meals and for how many?
Can we bring firewood?
Is alcohol acceptable?
Is there a sceduleof events?

Hope this may help others as well

We have a potluck on Saturday night, as far as how much to bring. Just bring your favorite dish for enough to feed maybe 8 to 10.....same as you would for maybe a family reunion. We provide and cook the meat.....probably ribs and chicken. As far as other meals while you are there, most of us prepare out own meals just for our family or maybe go out to dinner.
Last year we provided juice, coffee, pastries in the mornings just for kicks, some folks prefer a more hearty breakfast and prepared their own.
Alcohol is extemely acceptable! Firewood may be something you need to ask the campground, as some CG's still have burn bans. We always carry some......just in case.

Hopefully that answered your questions, if I missed something.....please by all means let me know.

As far as schedule of events....it's pretty much open with exception of Saturday night....our goal is fellowship and fun.

BamaGanza Has Filled The Campground!

Congratulations to Philip Sirota, you are the lucky last registrant to obtain a full hookup site! BamaGanza is now officially "Full"

Well Sorta....if you have a A-Frame, or can fit into a small electric only site, there are a few of those still available

Seriously folks, this is GREAT! For the second year in a row, BamaGanza has sold out the campground! Dennis, Sandy, Anne-Marie and I could not be happier!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Noccalula Falls in October!

Now for a bit of housekeeping:

Things to do at the rally

Some folkse have asked us about traditional RV activities like Corn-hole, Ladder Golf, Horseshoes or Bocce. We can certainly schedule these activities either formally or informally. Below is a brief interest survey. Please reply and let me know if you are interested in participating.

Putt-Putt Golf tournament?
If yes, how many players:

Corn-Hole?
If yes, how many players:
Can you bring a set of boards & bags?

Horseshoes?
If yes, how many players:
Can you bring a set of horseshoes?

Bocce?
If yes, how many players:
Can you bring a set of Bocce balls?

Ladder Golf?
If yes, how many players:
Can you bring a ladder golf set?

Any Mexican Train Domino players out there? If so let us know and we can organize this as a evening pastime!

After we get the results of the activity survey, we will post a tentative schedule in our September update. Until then...

Possibly on for putt putt. Yes to horse shoes. Corn hole. Ladder golf. And might want to learn Mexican train dominos. I think we have a simple corn hole game. Will look for it next weekend
