Yeah...I know. When we scouted the CG this Feb, there was MONDO water flow. This time of the year...not so much Hoping for some rain just before BamaGanza that will energize the falls though!

We have a LOT of activities planned and a few surprises for the attendees so Let's Get Ready To Rally!!

So two weeks tomorrow we head out, first stop is Wapakoneta Ohio 428km (267mls) border crossing in there, next is Lenoir City TN 616km (385mls), leaving only a short 292km (183mls) on Tuesday 13th, nice leisurely trip looking forward to seeing everyone.

Soaring Eagle Campground

It is a good sam place, we wanted to be past Knoxville and this the best we could find for just an over-night stay.

If you're heading down on I-75, you'll need to hop off and get to I-40 to get to this campground. I would also consider the KOA at Sweetwater. It's only 20 miles further down 75 and the time would be the same since you wouldn't have to get over to 40. Actually better, since you wouldn't have to get back to 75 in the morning.
We camp at this KOA several times a year. Very clean, great folks running it and easy access to 75 without traffic noise. And the is a great restaurant at the exit as well that has a wonderful buffet at night as well as good breakfasts. Just a thought. ..

I don't mind and you are right, all I want is a parking spot where we can plug into and get water, 30% more for the KOA probably more when tax is added plus I get good Sam discount, I love being cheap it is probably the best financial decision I ever made (and it is a choice).

thanks for posting that info, ...we just swapped to B2 from A8, ...by their online site map showing the direction of travel, A8 is at an angle that I just didn't want to have to work with, ......it was the last one available in that area when I reserved,................so now A8 is available..................

Nope Pennie! Saturday night is the BBQ sponsored by FROG! We will have Ribs, Chicken, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, BBQ Beans and cake for dessert.

(Now if anyone want to bring anything to supplement THAT feast pile it on LOL)

We have 2 pot-lucks scheduled for the campout:

Friday Night Pot-Luck
Sunday morning Farewell Pot-Luck

OK we have a interesting request from a rally attendee. They are wanting to do corn on the cob for Friday's pot-luck, but in the quantity we need, they will need a propane fish cooker to use as a corn pot.

By chance, does anyone have one of these they could bring to the rally?
