we stayed at Desota Falls! There are full hook ups, pull thrus, concrete pads, 50 and 30 amp. it is one of the nicest state parks we have stayed. But as far as pavilion and allowing a Rally not sure.

Alabama FROG

I've been to Desoto SP and can say they do have 50 amp FHU sites, there are several pavilions on site. Not sure how they feel about a rally though.

I can also say that their pull thru sites are not level at all. A motorhome takes some blocks under the tires and jacks to get level.

don't see why it would be a problem doing a Rally at a state park. i know the last we were there could not stay longer due to a large group coming in.

Yes, having to turn away campers because we chose a place too small would not build a following bunch. What are the requirements beside space?,,meeting hall or could we just set up a big tent for meeting the group???, I've been all over AL, but never looked for sites like we are discussing? Desoto falls is nice with the little river near by, and their trails were good. The lodge may be useful if allowed. Keep looking I guess.
