Sounds like a fun event too bad the college is in session and I can not take the time off! Looking forward to pictures as we are thinking of planning a rally here!

It is beautiful there this week, but looks like rain moving in on the 1st.....let's all give the stink eye to that, and hope the rain stays away for the festivities!

Deb I sent you and email.

Indy mule is bringing a new recipe to cook brats and is adding brats to our meat list!
This should be exciting!

On another note I spoke with phrog Bob this morning and officially at this time with the exception of the goshen rally the Amana rally is going to be the biggest of the year with the Texas rally hot on our heals!

Well picked up 50 brats to try a new recipe.

Speedcat was at the southern ohio rally this past weekend. He gave me a recipe for brats in the dutch oven. Well I can't make 50 in my dutch oven but I do have a couple electric roasters and I am thinking that will get the job done.

If these brats are half as good as they sound, we should be eating well.

What better to have at Phrogtoberfest than brats!

I'm thinking of bringing my awesome Pumpkin Chili....it is Autumn after all and might be chilly out. Peeps can put it on their hotdogs if they want. I could make and bring three types: Beef, Chicken and one with no meat. Any preference? All three?
A couple of questions: Are we meeting in one location/campsite for the potluck? Will there be electricity to run crockpots?
NOTE: Since I have gut issues, I can't eat gluten...that complicates things when doing potlucks due to cross-contamination, so I usually bring stuff I know I can eat. Just letting peeps know - I don't want to offend anyone if I don't try all the foods offered.

We have a building that we can use at anytime during the rally.
It's ours to use at our discretion!
It's heated and cooled and setup for banquets.
So plug in outlets shouldn't be an issue!

You bring on your special chili as you see fit!
I hope I get to try some!
