We will be heading out Wed morning. Spend the night in Rock Island IL for a side trip to Antique Archeology (Home of American Pickers). My wife and I both enjoy that show and they are only about 15-20 miles from the campground.
We will head over to Amana on Thursday morning.
Oh and I just tried the brat recipe for Thursday potluck, they are AWESOME!

Also oak man unless your committed to your rock island "spot" and it is the koa I'd suggest Scott County park vs the koa. IMO of course.
Besides that I work 10 minutes away!

Thanks for the tip on the speed trap. No donations for me.
We are staying at the KOA. I didn't know what our options would be so I made reservations online. It's just a pass thru night.

There's a really great county park just off of 280 at 61 called West Lake. It's only 10 minutes from my house. I'm a lot safer than Turbs! Food for thought next time. There's lots of great county and city parks along the river near the quad cities. Being a local, i never give my money to that KOA anymore.

You guys a killing me! DW and I wanted to come in the worst way. Never stayed at Scott County but have driven thru. Very nice. I would take it over a KOA any day. Scott County also has a very nice golf course. Hoping for lots of pics so DW and I see what we are missing. Is it to soon to start talking about FROG-tober fest 2015 yet?
