Has there been any talk about a potluck for the rally (breakfast, lunch or dinner), or any other get together we might want to do? Or is that something we want to start discussing?

As we get closer to the date we will try and make at least one evening potluck. I'm waiting to see how many more are waiting for the final decision if they are going or not.
Are you planning on coming?
So far I have received confirmation on 15 rigs.

This frog was found at Lowes garden center if you want one.

This Rally is open to ALL who own a Forest River made rig and can make it to Branson MO. in May 2011.

Great link Iggy, thanks for posting it. If anyone is looking for a good show to attend I recommend Presleys Country Jubilee. The Presleys are one of the original Banson shows and they know how to entertain a crowd, they have something for everyone. Nope, they are not related to Elvis.

Fuel Prices
Man I have been watching the diesel and gas prices. In Arizona it has topped $4.00 a gallon in some places.
I just calculated my trip fuel cost and it is around $1,400 RT.
All I can say is WOW and it suppose to get worse as we get closer to summer.
I will have to watch the diesel prices in the next few months.

Yes, the price of fuel is disgusting, especially when you consider the increasing price of fuel isn't because of a shortage but driven up by commodities traders. I can almost get teary-eyed thinking about the days when OPEC set the price of oil.
Stop by my Wildcat and we can commiserate over a beer, glass of wine, margarita, or other adult beverage.

I'm sure glad Branson is on my way home. Holly cow, it'll cost us a fortune to get home to Mi. this year. Maybe a VW bug and a pop up would be the way to go.. My wife would kill me if I were even to suggest such a thing..
Oh well there isn't much we can do at this point. Those of us who are over 2500 miles from home have to pay the price and that's what all those deep pocket jokers are counting on.
See you all in Branson, we'll be the ones sitting with our tin cups looking for fuel money.

FYI Fry's 10 cent discount is only good up to $100 then you have to stop and reset the pump. That happened to me when I filled up with diesel.
