Iggy,
not to be rude, but not everyone on this forum is retired. Why don't you have this ralley on the weekend or going into the weekend. Not everyone has endless amount of free time (vaction time) and some have kids in school. That is unless you are hoping for only retires and no kids.............

Just a thought

Actually it was designed for the ones that have to travel greater distances. Maybe next time we can do it during the summer when the kids are out of school.

no matter how you slice it, those of us traveling 1500 miles will need a total of 4 days to travel. So even if Iggy scheduled it for friday, saturday, sunday I would need to take wed, thursday, and fri as well as the following mon and tues off of work. At least with it starting on sunday my traveling is done over a weekend. It's going to be inconvenient for someone no matter what. You have to personally decide if this is important enough to burn vacation days. As for me, I want to be there for the first annual FROG rally. As for, kids, don't have any that I know of..... Making my reservations now.

Iggy,

Put us on the Maybe List also. My Family w/ child and Pets would have a great time attending I am sure. I just looked up the distance from Tomball Texas and it is:
Trip distance: 664.65 mi Time: 10 hrs 49 mins

Too far to travel... will have to wait for one in the west or northwest. Hope everyone has a great time.

3 Happy Campers thank you for your thoughts.
No matter what anyone does it will not make everyone 100% happy.
If you want to meet and make new friends that have similiar like this rally is one avenue. I want to continue to make this a fun meeting and not dwell on things we could have done. We learn as we go but I want to have fun and meet you all with a drink or two and talk over camping stories.

Thank you Daniel. You are on the maybe list. I understand that some can not commit this early. Just keep us posted and keep reading here .

Thanks
John

Understandable. Maybe we can use you in the future for information about the NW area. I guess you are around Washington, Idaho, Oregon, areas.

We will have to take a lot of pictures and post them after the meet.

Thanks
John
