If you wanted to stay long you can. This was just a number we started with. This campground looks really great.

FOR EVERYONE
I just spoke with the group coordinator Michelle and she also said that you can buy any of the show tickets for downtown at their desk.

She mentioned that the Branson strip is about 7 miles long where all the shows and action is located.
The strip is about 3 miles from the campground.

Please take a look at the site and you can find out more ..

Sounds good Iggy. Thanks for all the time and effort you have put into this so far. Everything you have accomplished to this point sounds great. My DW and I, and I'm sure everyone else, really appreciate it.

I hope that my DW and I can get that time period off. With our type of work (she works at a hospital and I work in the prison system) things can come up suddenly and you never know.

We really think this would be a great trip that the both of us would really enjoy.

Keep us posted and don't be shy about asking for help if you need it.

Sounds great, John. Do we possibly get a senior discount? Or military? Just askin'
You can put us down for sure. And just a tiny word of advice. Have everyone pay individually rather than you (or anyone) collect the money and then pay as a group. That always ends badly.

The only way this would workif everyone pays by calling them selves.
I haven't paid yet but after we settle on the name of the group I will.
If I don't hear from anyone I will just call it the "Forest River Group"
And the price of $27.50 is a group discount price which is less than any Senior, Military/Vet or Good Sam price.

The FRG name could be how we get the group rate. Works for me.
Thanks for all you have done.

We are interested but will have to check dates. We usually go to Branson twice a year and we take our camper and stay at the Wilderness. We have season passes to Silver Dollar City and that is West so that is how we found this cg. There are just tons of cgs down there and it all depends on just what you want and where you want to be. There is Table Rock State Park which I have heard people talk about on other forums but we have never stayed there. I would say that ABC is like an RV park but I am not sure just which one it is. We are all over that area and love it. Put us down as a maybe and we will let you know.

Sound like another maybe.
If you are considering going we do need someone who know Branson.
Also where have you stayed or where would be a good quality campground close to the action?
Here is my link on finding campgrounds. Please use it and tell me what you thing may be a good campground inor around Brandson.

This sounds like fun but regrettably it is probably a month too late for us. We will talk it over though and see if we can work it into the schedule. We are heading south earlier than normal so that we can stop at a Cedar Creek rally on the way. It's the 6 month out of the country rule that is the problem.

Count me as a "maybe". We are supposed to go to Disneyworld for Spring break in April, but that looks iffy at the present time. If we don't go to Disney, a Branson trip sounds like a lot of fun.

I have never been to Branson so I am not familar with the campgrounds. The one Iggy has posted, America's Best Campground, seems fine and the price is right.
But just in case things don't work out for this campground I thought I would look at some alternatives on campgroundreviews.com. If anyone has visited these campgrounds or know of any others, let us know.

Branson Stagecoach - Branson Campground, Branson RV Park, Branson Camping

Table Rock State Park - Home - Missouri State Parks and Historic Sites, DNR

Tall Pines Campground Home Page

I haven't camped at these but we drive by Tall Pines on our way to The Wilderness. Also Compton Ridge is just across from The Wilderness and I believe Table Rock SP is on down the same road. If we stay out this direction there are color coded roads that go around the main strip of Branson and you can use those as it is much quicker. If you want to go to the older area of downtown Branson it will be the opposite direction from the strip and has Dick's Five and Dime and The Landing. I can't recommend any of these-except The Wilderness- but feel they would be mostly the same. There will be maps down there where ever you go of the roads around the traffic and it is a great place to vacation. The ABC cg will be behind the strip. We have some friends that camp in that area but I am not sure if this is the cg.
