PROBABLY around the last week of March - first week of April. No definitive announcement will be made until Feb. or March, I assume.

No you don't, it's a FROG rally not a FRF rally.

You do not have to be a member of the forums here to attend the Goshen Rally, but you DO have to own/bring a Forest River Inc. RV.
Only Forest River Inc. RV's are allowed since it is a Forest River Owners Group (FROG) rally.

That is a very valid point. Since this forum accepts owners of "Some Other Brands" it's important they know they can't attend any FROG rally.

I have heard a few Forest River folks comment that they sort of wish that new folks would get a chance to come and experience it and not just the same folks every year. I can see that point.
If I go next year, I may just go to Shipse South and stay in the area to visit everyone, and let someone else have our place. We've been twice now.

I hope to go next year, we met a lot of nice people there. Besides it's the only rally we really care about going too. We get some things fixed on camper. If we could sign up now we would. We have big trip set for next year plus one or two more in the thinking about.

There's a difference working the rally and just going to the rally. i can see these working folks going back if they choose to. Just going back every year to rally cuts new folks from the experience. Just saying. Later RJD

Someone can have my spot, the rally is great been to 4 already. What I would miss is seeing all my friends and the Rockwood Crew, they are just great. We have developed a relationship over the years. They need people to work, even with the ton of volunteers they had this year. Its like anything else first come first served. RJD are you not going to Mayberry in 2018? It is the samething give someone else a chance. the small rally's are great, but the International is GREATER, and they have cheap booze in Indiana, just ask Youroo...

And yes I will be attending the Mayberry rally. Also you should be meeting at other rallys or camping events if these are folks you have made friends with . Goshen sounds like a once a year meet it should mean more than that. Later RJD

As a first-timer at this year's Goshen rally, I found it to be a great experience, and hope to return. But just being in the Elkhart County area for the first time was also a great treat, with so much to do and see that we couldn't get it all done in one week. With that in mind, is it possible to let people camp (and take their meals) elsewhere, but get "day passes" just to come on the fairgrounds to socialize, see the vendors, and soak up some of the fellowship of the event?
And one reason I'd like to come back is just so I could answer everyone's question by saying "Yes, I've been here before."

We were first timers this year and met new friends and hope to see them next year at the rally plus meet more. I'm sure there will be something that needs fixing on the camper by next year. We have been to Elkhart County a few times. If just going to Amish places we like Lancaster area better, we like the area around Intercourse PA. We are looking forward to next years rally at Goshen
