Still some spots available!

RJ and Judy Studley will be your host for a TOTAL solar eclipse of 2 minutes 38 seconds.

**** Sweetwater KOA
**** (Exit 62 I-75)
**** 269 Murray's Chapel Road
**** Sweetwater, Tennessee 37874

Registration is now open for this total solar eclipse event that will occur on August 21 at 1:30 PM.

Sites are being held for FROGS until Dec. 1st. These sites include full hook-ups, deluxe sites and a few electric/water sites.

A one night non-refundable deposit of about $40 (depending on site) will hold your place.

This FROG rally will include a welcome ice cream social, an open field for solar viewing,* pot luck dinner, catered dinner, campfires and special viewing glasses to watch the eclipse safely.

To make your reservation call Sweetwater KOA at 865-213-3900. Ask for Chucky and let him know that you are registering for the FROG Rally.

After registering, send an email to RJ Studley at rstudley165@gmail.com or call 937-768-9121 to complete your registration and let him know you're coming.

Come and join us as our world goes dark in the middle of the day.

While the campground is in the direct path of the eclipse, visibility will depend on the weather. This event will occur regardless of the weather, and no cancellations will be made if the eclipse is not visible because of weather.

WARNING: Looking directly at a solar eclipse can cause severe eye damage, up to and including blindness. We plan to provide eclipse safety glasses, but FROG, Forest River, none of its affiliated companies, employees, and agents can be held responsible for any injury resulting from looking at the eclipse.
Have sent an e-mail to RJ and no reply? Be nice to get a response back. Later RJD

I just tried to register. Chucky wasn't available but the girl at the desk said it looks like all the big rig sites for the rally are full. She told me to try back first thing tomorrow to see if I can catch Chucky before he starts back on his maintenance rounds. Here is hoping he can work some magic...

Yippee- canpground just called. They were able to fit me in a double slot. It is a pull through that converts into 2 spots. I will be in site 43B.

Looking forward to seeing so many friends again next year! I count at least 5 couples we have met previously going to this rally so it should be a fun time... for those friends who have not yet met my DD, she will be joining us at both this rally and the Peach Rally.

Same thing for me.... a double pull through? Just can't imagine how that is setup. It seems to me that it's only a pull through for the first one to arrive. See you there. I'm probably your site neighbor.

howdy potential neighbor. Do you know your site number? I've seen thestype of sites at other campgrounds. You pull into both sites but if pulling into second site with truck/trailer, good luck getting the truck out. think of it as 1st person pulls in. 2nd person pulls in so front of rig faces other rigs bumper. Hope you pull out in order or one will back out. I have also seen where both are pull through but back up to each other. Then one becomes a back in. So no I don't really call these pull throughs.

Double pull through we had at Charlotte One pulls one way and they other pulls in the other way and passes you. The site is extra wide and hook ups are opposite side so both campers are hook up correctly. Not blocked in. Later RJD

P.N. (potential neighbor) we're coming in the day prior. Will we beat you to the site? First in sounds the easiest.

We will be there on Saturday 8/19 as well. It looks like they have 4 potential double sites for 8 rigs. I tried to get a satellite image but it appears those sites are free covered. They did say on their video that the 4 piggyback sites are 120 ft long. See ya then!

RJ, got a call about camping registration today. CG said we are registered with 2 adults, but that you had not received any emails? Arriving on 18th and leaving on 23rd. Was in restaurant at the time of call, failed to get site number.
