We took Earth Station's advice and headed to Billy Gail's for breakfast on Monday morning. It was wonderful. Didn't have to wait and enjoyed the food.

We noticed the collection of frogs. Guess they knew we were coming.

Great Pictures and it looks as if you all had a great rally. No rain or tornados spotted. Will have to try for the next one Bob.
Same grassy are we all met way back when.

Does Bob still look like this?

Thanks for the pictures, we love the Branson area as it is strictly family oriented and has so much to do and enjoy. For those that are into history, you must buy the book "Shepard of the Hills" by Harold Bell Wright to get a feel for what inspired the interest in the area. Old Matt's Cabin is the origin of the whole place. Inspiration Point just up the hill west of OM Cabin is where Wright wrote the book. They also do a mini play there which is very good with all local talent.

BTW, the book is written in "hill dialect" and is kinda hard to understand for the first couple of chapters.

Yep, we're in that same site you had Iggy.

Bob looks pretty much the same, two years older maybe, but he is still the trouble making, pot stirring guy we all love to be around.

Yesterday was a do-it-yourself day giving everyone a chance to explore the Branson area on their own. Ten couples, Joyce and me included, attended the 3 PM show at the Pierce Arrow Theater as a group. During the intermission we were acknowledged as the Forest River Owners’ Group but I was a wee bit disappointed they didn’t call us FROGs.

The show was good but I thought some of the comedian’s humor was at times crude. Nothing really bad, just some jokes about farting and smelling butts. At any other venue I wouldn’t have thought twice about it, but I found the toilet humor shocking for a Branson show. That’s my opinion of course.

Neither Joyce nor I felt like cooking a dinner last night so we convinced RalphieAdie (Ralph and Adrienne) to go with us to a nearby restaurant. BTW, the two of them were a tremendous help during the rally registration. Thank you RalphieAdie.

When we returned to the ABC campground I was too exhausted to fire up the Little Red Campfire so Joyce and I just chilled out at our trailer for the rest of the night. I think I was snoring comfortably in my recliner by 9:30.

On the agenda today is the potluck dinner and that will be followed by the 2 hour Hillbilly Party at the Campground’s pavilion/meeting room.

NOTE: I just reread my first paragraph and realized I used the word “wee.” Apparently I’m having too many conversations with my camping neighbor DDC who is originally from Scotland. Yep, this really is an INTERNATIONAL rally.

Bob

That's scarey, but ya gotta love the guy. It's the day after s-mora that hangs in his chin whiskers that's funny. Naaa just kidding..
Sure wish we were there to enjoy all the fun. Looks like Bob and Joyce did a terrific job putting the rally together. Congrats on a job well done you two.
