Better late than never...we're onboard too and can't wait to meet everyone. Should be great fun.

Adrienne

PS We were at this year's Cherry Blossom (albeit without the blossoms) and we were on Cindy's bus.

I was hoping you two would join us. We now have 31 rigs (63 people) coming to Branson.

I think you should join us in Branson and then you can surprise your cousin by showing up in person. The rally is at the ABC Campground. Look at the first post in this thread for more info on registering for the rally.

Just a reminder for anyone still undecided about joining the rally. Registration is closing in just a few days so call ABC campground to get registered if you want to join the fun. We currently have 65 FROGs (32 rigs) coming to the rally.

Hi folks! The Branson Rally is getting closer. I wanted to point out some things to do in Branson that are FREE! I plan on giving everyone a printout of free things to do in Branson, but I wanted to share a few now.

Branson Landing: Located in old downtown Branson along the boardwalk, Branson Landing is a beautiful area on the waterfront. At the heart of the Landing is a town square terracing down to the spectacular fountain show that features the first-ever merging of water, fire, light and music. You will be amazed by the dazzling interplay of water Fountains shooting 120-foot geysers and fire cannons blasting, all choreographed to light and music. The Landing has some great shopping stores and restaurants.

Waterfront - Lake Taneycomo. Located along the boardwalk at Branson Landing is an area on the waterfront that is beautiful for short walks. You can fish off the docks, feed the ducks and geese for a few pennies, stroll through the park, the dockside art galleries, or just sit and enjoy the view of the clear waters, rugged cliffs.

Shopping. It doesn't cost anything just to look! Branson is one of America's top shopping destinations. The outlet malls, Tanger Outlet Mall, Factory Shoppes at Branson Meadows, and Factory Merchants Outlet Mall, house over 200 stores. In addition, there are several theme malls featuring antiques, demonstrating master craftsmen, country crafts, or flea markets.

Table Rock Dam. This dam was completed in 1958 and created Table Rock Lake. You can park just below the dam to watch the powerful structure hold back the waters of the White River. It is the perfect spot to view the workings of the dam and the power generating plant. There are also walking trails and good spots for a picnic. Designed, built and operated by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Table Rock Dam and Lake has become a paradise for boaters, scuba divers, campers and fishermen alike.

God and Country Inspirational Gardens. Come and reflect on God, family and our Country. Enjoy 6 ponds with fountains and waterfalls, a small cedar chapel, covered area for performances, many flower beds, a winding path along the landscape and a display of the Ten Commandments. These lovely gardens are free to the public. “It is our way to give back to God and this country for all of life’s blessings we have received,” say owners Dick and Dawn Easton. After visiting the garden, you may wish to step indoors to enjoy dessert or browse the gift shop. Located at 1116 Highway 76 West, Branson, Missouri.

Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery. One of Branson's most popular tourist sites is located below Table Rock Dam. The visitor's center has some beautiful aquariums displaying Missouri's game fish and information about the history and running of the dam and the hatchery. A walk through the trout hatchery (which raises over a million rainbow and brown trout yearly) is an especially big hit with families. These trout are stocked in the cold waters of Lake Taneycomo below Table Rock Dam. Hatchery tours are given throughout the summer months.

Great job Bob!
32 rigs is impressive. Keep this up and I may have to show up......
Who knows? All I need is a 55 mph tail wind from Arizona and can be there in a jiffy.

It should be a fun time Iggy. We are definitely going to have the campground bring in the Hillbilly show the last evening of the rally. And a big THANK YOU to you for organizing that very first INTERNATIONAL rally in Branson.
