We are leaving in the morning. With all the flooding going on around here we may need to change our directions a couple of times. Have to cross a small connecting river here in Iowa BUT up stream they are going to open the dam gates and who knows what will happen after that.
BUT WE WILL BE THERE BY HOOK OR BY CROOK

Turbs that is what I heard the water is almost ready to start over flowing on its own.

Oakman will be extra careful coming down. Leaving early in case we have to backtrack and start again a different way.

Those folks in the photo all look like locals to me, although I have some serious concerns about the guy in the avatar.

The avatar is the reason they call me Bobby Joe.

We have no banjos, but we do have a canjo. If only one of us knew how to play it.

I think I'll bring our two string Canjo to Branson. Maybe someone can teach us how to play it.

tornado's

All kidding aside I sure hope the weather co-operates as far as tornado's are concerned. Got CNN on at the moment and Oklahoma is getting wacked again.
We are both deadly afraid of tornado's and the path they seem to take crosses the path we want to take. Safe travels to all going to Branson.

We are here at home just southeast of Tulsa. All local TV stations are covering the storms constantly for the last 3 hours. Just a couple "small" twisters so far this afternoon. And I realize they are all small unless ther are right over the top of your house. Thinking I am very glad that I did not go to Stillwater today. I would be coming home through the worst of the storms.
