Calico Ghost Town Potluck & List of Events
Please post to this thread about what you are bringing to Saturday's Potluck Dinner and I will add it to this list. It's hard to say how much to bring so we are estimating at least enough for 8 people. There 32 members, two are newborn twins, joining in on the fun at Calico. 
Oct. 13th update: We have another party of 2 coming so we are at 34 members.

Saturday: Potluck Dinner @ 5 pm
Pending: Group picture, train ride, mine tour. Did I miss anything?

I'll bring stuffed mushroom appetizer. Too hard to explain... I'll check with my sister to see what she wants to bring. What time is the pot luck?

Cool!
We have a hiccup- blower motor for the AC died today. Going to the dealer in the am and see if I can get on the hurry up offense. If not, have to "rough it" without.

Yup....bring your rain gear just in case. I have been watching the forecasts & they can change from one to another but all are showing high chance of rain.

Well, guess it wasn't in the cards to attend this rally. Came down with the flu yesterday and and have not felt this bad in years. You all have fun and if I can drive tomorrow we will be there, but as of right now, there's no way.

Gosh, I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling ill. You could come down on Friday or Saturday if you are feeling well. I'm going to be departing on Monday. A couple years ago I arrived at Calico not feeling well and quickly found out that camping while sick is no fun.
If you are trying to keep your reservation you should call Calico and let them know that you might be coming in later. Also need to call Calico if you are trying to get a partial refund.
In the meantime I hope you are feeling better soon.
