Us too. As a former backpacker turned 5er, I love going to places less traveled. Just not sure what our monster needs to do it right.

Lightbulb Boondocking Seminar/Weigh-In Service

Usually during our 'Happy Hour' sessions in the club room, FROGs are encouraged to swap tips and techniques about all sorts of things, and 'Boondocking is one of the things that always comes up.
Any FROG with experience is encouraged to feel free to speak about where and what to do while off the grid camping.

Any of our attendees interested in getting their rig weighed and balanced should email Steve Kass directly at Steve@RVWeigh.com to set up your appointment during the California Rally. His website is RV WEIGH - Mobile Weigh Station, and he says it takes about 1 hour for a 5er.

See you all soon!

Questions

Has the cut-off date passed?
For those of us in MH's without a toad, how limiting would the rally be? Can we break camp and find parking for our MH at the activity?
We still aren't sure yet if we can make it. It would be our first!

The cutoff is today, May 9, but let me know.
Not having a toad isn't usually a problem, there is always someone with an extra seat for getting around. Most of the activities are in the park and I'm sure someone would be willing to give you a lift to the factory tour.

Today, May 9 is registration cut-off for the California Here We Come Rally so Sweet Baby Jane's will have time to order enough for our Saturday night dinner.
If you are still interested attending please make your reservations and email gerryreviea@yahoo.com your information.
We've eclipsed last years attendance, so there will be plenty of new stories around the campfires.
Hope to see you all soon

Just found out my wife told our son and daughter-in-law that we will watch their 2 dogs over Memorial Day weekend. Have to take a rain check, darn! Our other plans for the weekend got cancelled.

VERY Loose Schedule

There isn't really a FROG calendar.
The planned functions are:

Thursday, 4pm "Meet'N'Greet" Happy Hour in the clubhouse.
Friday, Factory tour. Time to be determined because there may be 2 tours. 4pm Happy Hour in the clubhouse. 5:30 Potluck Dinner bring something to feed 6-8.
Saturday, 4pm Happy Hour, 5:30 BBQ Dinner by Sweet Baby Jane's, entertainment and raffle.
Sunday, 4pm Happy Hour - Snacks provided by "Cable Grip"
Monday, Memorial Day 4pm Happy Hour
Tuesday, Pack-out.

Some FROG's are coming early enough on Thursday to go to Palm Springs for their Street Fair on Palm Canyon Ave from 6-10pm.

There is plenty to do in the area with all the wineries in Temecula, an Antique Auto Museum, Train Museum, Indoor Skydiving at Perris Valley Airport, antique shopping, Cabazon Outlet Mall, Old Towns in Temecula and the Aritsans of Idylwild.

There are rumors of 'Bean Bag" baseball, Washers and "Ladder Golf" tournaments. Get a group together.

Plenty of swimming pools, hot tubs, Volly Ball and Pickle Ball Courts.

You shouldn't be bored.

Not an official sport...but I enjoyed bunny counting.

The staff said I could take as many as I wanted!

Gonna miss you this year! Maybe you'll take the helm next year?
