You can't drive down one street and judge an entire community.
Hemet is an old town and yes, there are some depressed areas but, it is definitely NOT a ghetto.
My wife and I live here, and there are several age 55+ communities and plenty of history.
The Ramona Bowl has an annual play, there are museums, street fairs, restaurants, golf courses and activities galore if you look for them.
Golden Village Palms (Golden Village Palms RV Resort – Golden Village Palms RV Resort in Hemet California
) is an extremely nice park and hosts many different RV Clubs like the Annual Elks Rally, FMCA, SMART, and this is the second year for FROG.
They host our neighbors from the North every year and have several musical band tributes every year.
