California Here We Come! May 26-31, 2016

Come join hosts Gerry & Linda Reviea at beautiful Golden Village Palms in Hemet, California for the 2016 FROG Rally in California, May 26th to the 31st.
Contact the park directly at 866-477-6154 to reserve your site at the special FROG rate.
GVP is located at 3600 Florida Ave. in Hemet, with 1000 full hookup sites on 60 acres.
Last year was a blast and some took advantage of the wine country, museums, casinos, shopping in Palm Springs, the Aerial Tram to the top of Mount San Jacinto, Indoor Skydiving and much, much more.
The tour of the Forest River Plant in Hemet was a real bonus and everyone who attended learned how a trailer was put together. Manpower, not machines.
We have social sessions, Pot-Lucks and Forest River will supply us with a BBQ dinner from Dickey's here in Hemet.

When you make your reservations, please send an email to GerryReviea@yahoo.com so he can add you to the list of attendees.

Hope to see you soon!

We have already made our reservations and emailed Gerry. We attended last year's rally and had a great time. Looking forward to this year's rally and meeting up with old and new friends.

Gerry & Linda-

Sam and I are sorry but we won't be able to make it this year. Without a doubt you two will make it to be another great event. If you could, take some pictures of the new side of the factory for us- would love to see the progress they are making. And keep an eye on Iggy- I hear he's been practicing at washer game!

Hope to see you all at another event soon

We have to beat a few bushes and get this rally on the front page.
We will be there as well as others but I have not heard from Gerry on how many so far. The resort is really a nice one in Hemet and I have stayed their many times over the past 4 years.

As in the first message all you have to do is call the Golden Palms and make reservations. Just tell them the FROG Rally.
See you then.

Hay Gerry is the Rally 4 nights or 5 nights?
Need to know as the original message you said May 26th - 31st.

You may also need to ask the Administrators here if they could add the location and the dates in the title of the 1st message to help people find it quickly.

We have ours reserved for 5 nights. Checking in on the 26th and out on the 31st. Others that I have talked to are doing the same.

Yes, we do need to get more folks interested in this rally.

26th to the 31st seems to work best since it is over a national holiday.
Leaving on a Monday usually involves a lot of traffic on the freeways.

Hemet is a nice town and not a ghetto.
Take a look around the resort.

Thanks for responding!
This will only be the second year we've had a rally here.
Like other cities in the I.E., Hemet has its problems but definitely isn't a 'ghetto'.
The FROG Rally is being held at Golden Village Palms RV Resort, and is one of the premier resorts in Southern California with about 1000 sites, currently hosting a few hundred 'Snowbirds' from the North.
Check out their website Golden Village Palms RV Resort – Golden Village Palms RV Resort in Hemet California and see for yourself.
Hope to see you in May.

Not ignoring but I live here and hemet IS ghetto. I looked up the park. The park is on the south end of hemet just off the 74. Yes hemet is very ghetto. But this is more winchester area. It's not a bad looking park we are going to check it out Monday after we get back form camping. The sites look big. Would be nice to do something new.

Iggy, Hemet is not a nice town. Now Temecula and Murrieta are very nice towns. Just trying to help you out since I live here. You do not wanna go hang out on state street. Now take a 10 min ride to wine country or a 20 min ride to old Town Temecula.
