Terier- still love your idea of like Calico Ghost Town Rally around Halloween time. I just can't make the last days of the month- maybe the weekend before.

It wouldn't have to be Halloween weekend - any of the weekends in October would work for me.

Bob - do you have any more information that you can share with us? I know that arrangements can take time but back in early November you did say more details would be published very soon.

We bought the old Skyline facilities in Hemet, and they're being rehabbed and converted over to a Forest River plant right now. Production should start on or about 3/1.

It is. This is part of the expansion that Pete Liegl was referring to in the article in the January newsletter. We also just announced earlier this week that we'll be building three new plants -- one per year over the next three years -- in White Pigeon, MI, about ten miles north of where I am in Middlebury, IN.

I meant to to read the Newsletter but life got busy all of a sudden. This will be a reminder to do so in the future.

Thanks for posting an update on the rally. The pricing is really on the affordable side for CA camping, especially a place that like. Hopefully lots of members will take advantage.

I had to do a double-take when I learned the price that Gerry managed to get. It's an amazing deal, especially over a major holiday weekend like Memorial Day.

Bob, do you know which brand/brands they plan to build there?
i used to live in Riverside and San Bernadino.
it would be nice if some more Midwest-only brands could be made out West, so we wouldn't have to pay those high shipping costs.

Dan, according to Ty Miller, the GM of our California operations, the Hemet plant will build Salem, Wildwood and Evo travel trailers, and Stealth, Shockwave and Sand Storm toy-haulers.

Cool deal...maybe they can fix my cabinet wall that's got a big hole in it now during the tour? Or maybe they just won't notice me carrying out a 3x6 piece of laminate? Lol

Update: for easier reservations, just select reservations option when calling in rather than them trying to track down Traci. Worlds easier.

Hondaman, thanks for the tip. I've updated the information on the FROG "Events and Calendar" page.

x2 on the good suggestion from HondaMan174 to call reservations.

At first I was directed to Traci voicemail but didn't get a returned call. I called back and Traci said the FROG event is pretty big so she has passed on the information to the team so they can help. A little while later I got that returned call from the other day from someone else there. Traci said I could get another call as they go through the phone messages regarding this event.
