Would go but kids are in school that week and looks like everyone would be leaving the day after we could get there. Oh, and not sure if my TV will be in by then. Any others going with kids?

California Rally

Here's the weekly round up. Please don't feel this as a peer pressure post....just a fun way to see who is going and who's not. We all know life happens so don't be afraid to stay connected if you can't go. With that said, we would love to hear hear from you either way so we can plan meals and other things. There is still plenty of time to register and the discounted group rate applies to everyone wether you choose to stay a day or all week. $46 per night. When calling to reserve your spot you will be required to put a deposit down($46) and pay the rest upon arrival.

If you know of someone who is not on the forum who might be interested in attending please feel free to pass the info along.

Calling the campground to reserve your spot you will want to say your with the Forest River group.

After registering with the campground please email Simplyrwc to confirm your spot number, and to help provide a head count for planning.

Names with an(R) next to them have reserved spots.

If any newbies jump on let me know I'll change out your name for your forum name.

Good idea to team up and start the fun early.

Is there anyone coming in from the southeast? We're coming from the Prescott, AZ area, and plan to just drive to Bakersfield the first day. Then on to Petaluma the next day.

We are new to the Forum, just found this thread. Have already made reservations and am looking forward to meeting all and a good time. We live in Eureka, CA, about 3-4 hrs. north. If you are traveling through heading south we could join up.

Drive schedule for Dreamin' Fest

I will be leaving Redding 8:00am Sunday morning of April 20th. My GPS tells me it's a good 3+ hour drive from here. It would be great to join in our travels. Let me know what you think. I'm very flexible.

Another reservation today and starting to get quite a few questions on the schedule so I thought I'd share a little. Not that I'm trying to keep it a secret but have been working hard to confirm things before putting out there to avoid confusion. Also I'm planning on having it printed up once it is set in stone and given to each of you at the rally. So for a very rough and unconfirmed draft here is the schedule. Being our first year keeping it simple was our theme.

Sunday - arrivals
Monday - trip to coast and Welcome dinner(confirmed)
Tues - trip to Healdsburg plaza or Trip to coast
Wednesday - winery tour and Bring your own lunch luncheon
Thursday - open
Friday - breakfast burritos(confirmed) and brewery tour
Saturday - departures

Add in nightly campfires

The trips are all caravan style led by attendees of the campout and the dinner and breakfast is courtesy of the FROG group.

Kaboom, We have reservations starting on the Sunday and were planning to leave that morning, if you change your plans we would love to join up and travel in together.

Frog It, Pulling 299 would be ugly, hate to see you waste all that fuel, I-5 would be a much easier pull. Will look forward to meeting you at the festivities.
Thanks to both, Bear

Please read before making reservations.

The Petaluma KOA called today and we are at 23 reserved spots.

They did have a request and asked that I post it right away.

The discounted daily group rate and area only applies to Reservations made by phone. If the person uses the KOA on-line reservation system then the group rate is not calculated. It also makes keeping the group in an area very difficult.

Please, if you wish make a reservation and attend the rally call the Petaluma KOA at (707) 763-1492. and tell them you are with the "Forest River Group".

Thanks

I think those that did use the on-line system have been added to the group at this point.

Well, finally worked it out so we can join the party! Just made the reservation, got a spot, but away from the group as all the spots in the park are filling up. It being Easter weekend, if you're thinking about coming, you might want to reserve soon!

That's great look forward to meeting you and asking some questions about the Nova. My favorite Chevrolet Model.
