If not for work I would be there in a heartbeat! Our spring break is the last week of March and the first week of April so scheduling didn't fall into place this year but hopefully next time it will.

I've been doing the same thing, so that I don't have it all to do in the 11th hour.
Wheel bearings, Tire pressure, Battery Service, Bugs off the front cap, new tool boxes for the truck, replaced fan behind the fridge with two more efficient/quiet fans.
My goal is that by Thursday, the only thing left to pack will be the food.
Leaving early Saturday morning and pulling to Bakersfield area. Then Sunday make the run up I-5.

We just got our rig back from the dealer after repairs again. Now to clean and pack it up.
Have a race on Sat. and then pulling in on Sun.

Just about finished packing here. A few things will go in the RV in the morning (dog's insulin, laptop, etc.)
Was going to hitch up and pull the RV out of the Ag Building, but we're having a light rain that is supposed to dissipate by morning. So I'll get up at 5AM, hitch up, and get ready. Leaving at 6:30AM. Stop to feed and medicate dogs at 8AM, and then on in to Bakersfield (with several dog and DW stops along the way.
Forecast for the route is clear skies, with of course some wind from the west (because I'm heading that direction). I can pretty much guarantee you that next Saturday the wind will be out of the east. LOL

Luck is a good thing. At 10:00 pm last night I was still working and it looked like I was going to have to cancel the trip and stay and work through Sunday. Then drive to Redding on Monday to make a delivery to a customer so he could leave on a trip Tuesday morning. Well luck was on my side this time. I planned to call the KOA at 9:00 am and cancel. The customer called at 8:45 am and advised that he had to cancel his trip and he was in no hurry now.
Still plan on leaving early afternoon tomorrow and should be at the KOA by 4 or 5 pm.

Sitting in the River Run RV Park in Bakersfield. Arrived here about 2PM. Great park by the way. Very spacious and clean with reasonable rates.
Will launch out of here in the AM, as early as I can without being stoned by my neighbors. LOL Should be in Petaluma by late afternoon.
