Countdown to Goshen 2015

Well...This is how I think!

Since a firm date for the 4th Annual International FROG Rally in Goshen, Indiana has yet to be set and...since we've already begun planning our 2015 camping season...we find ourselves in need of some guidance...

So...
by my reckoning it’s been 10 days since the conclusion of Goshen 2014 which means, we can say with great certainty that the Countdown to Goshen 2015 will be 10 days less than it was when we left.

In other words….

The Countdown is…
T-10 Days To Goshen 2015!

We can complete the equation when the actual date becomes known.

Shouldn't this be a count up, like Goshen +16 days in. Like the our heroes did after D-day.

I'm afraid to put anything out. When the e-mail blast went out last week about the Amana Colonies rally, the attendance jumped from 19 rigs to 89 in 5 days. That an increase of 368%.

Let's see, 508 at this year's FROG Rally x (1 + 368%) = 2,380. Maybe we'll only open registration for five days next year.

(BTW, I'm highly confident of the dates for next year, just waiting for a confirmation on one item from the fairgrounds.)

Publishing dates (not necessarily opening registration) would be a good thing for us working stiffs that still have to plan time off from that "W" word...Work

Since I was one of the four tadpoles there this year (Rpods) don't count. You can count me in. I still need to do a factory tour.

Hopefully that "one item" is an agreement for them to de-fly the area. Are they always that bad?

If the attendance goal for 2015 is 1,000+, perhaps registration should open now?

Tom, I like North Carolina, especially in the fall. I'm willing to drive over there and slap you.

2015 FROG Rally Q&A

Q: Hey, FROG Bob, do you have the dates for the 2015 FROG Rally?
A: Yes, I do.
Q: Will you tell us what they are?
A: Yes, I will.
Q: When will you tell us?
A: Right now. August 9-15, 2015.
Q: Is registration open yet?
A: Don't make me hurt you. No.
Q: Will you let us know when it's going to be open?
A: Yes.
Q: When will you let us know?
A: Shortly before it opens.
Q: Will it help if we keep asking when it's going to be open?
A: It will help me remember to park you in the muck pile.
Q: Will there be 1000 pages dedicated to a countdown again this year?
A:

(It's later next year because the 4-H Fair runs through August 1.)

Yes, Cindy and I will be in Ashtabula, but will have to leave a little bit early to get to Pigeon Forge on time. We're also planning to be in Goshen, but haven't registered yet.

(I didn't registered this year, either, but managed to get in by following OC's suggestion to check with Cindy.)
