Curious- who would be up for a Utah rally?

Just spent a week in Bryce Canyon at Ruby's Rv park. Liked it a lot. We were thinking that there is enough of things to do here to make it a 4 day event. Who would be up for a rally in let's say April up here?

I might be, depending on the date. Usually, I head to Moab on Easter Sunday since that is the end of the Jeep Safari week and the unofficial start of the Hummer week. Camp for a few days and visit with Hummer owners I have known for years and with friends still living in Moab.

I'd consider going but I would have to vote for the first two weeks in June 2017 as the temps become more reasonable and no over night freezes.
It looks kind of a sparse campground. But it is the high desert.
For 2 or 3 night we could survive.

We would be interested but there is the FROG rally in Hemet that I think has moved to first weekend of June.

Could always do Moab in July; no problem with freezing weather.

Temperature: June 28, 2013 and it was not even the hot season, yet.

ONLY KIDDING....

I lived there for six years, no way I would ever camp in a popup without A/C in Moab in July or August.

Actually Moab is cooler in July and Aug than at my house in Phoenix AZ

Beautiful area to hold a rally. Generally, there are no freezing nights after Memorial Wknd. May, June or Sept. would be ideal.

Bryce is at 9000 ft and often has a lot of snow in April. Shift to a lower altitude such as Zions or Capitol Reef. I live in No. Utah so I'd look forward to a trip!

Yea, but you don't sleep in your trailer in Phoenix do you? Just like I never slept in my trailer in Moab during the summer. (Especially since I have a popup with no A/C.)

Rally in Utah

It is pretty hot in Utah by the first of June is it not? Would be delighted to come depending on the venue, vendors, classes, and entertainment.

Here's what I know about the area and weather:

Average highs and lows are 55 and 30. Was the exact same temps we had last week and by 9 am it was well above 40 but felt like 60 in the sun. It is at 8000 ft so snow is always a possibility.

The campground has a newer area which is mostly dirt/clay but would be easier for all of us to be closer together. Note: I could watch the local wildlife wander thru that section. The older section has grass and trees and much more personality. The campground also has three restraunts and atv rentals, horseback riding, wagon trail tours, a few stores and the shuttle picks up to go right into the park which is only a mile away. It is also 65 miles from Zion and 25 miles from Grand Staircase park.

We enjoyed the beauty and casual pace. The summer season would be harder to arrange as it is their busy season so less ability to get group closer together and MANY more people in Rv park and national park.

And iggy doesn't appear to have heat in his rig so I guess we will miss him😝
