More clear, here goes.
And by the way, we may stay extra nights, more than the Friday and Saturday nights due to things to see and do being this close to St.Louis. As the post says, "extra nights optional". Depending on how many show up as FROG members we will get a discount based on Pin Oak Creek's sliding scale discount.

Bob and Linda,
We live just 5 miles from Pin Oak, and would love to join you, but will be in Mississippi, returning from a trip to Texas, that weekend. If you enjoy visiting a winery, and have time on this trip, may we suggest a stop at Montelle Winery on Highway 94, just east of the town of Augusta, and not very far from Marthasville. www.montelle.com
Enjoy the Deutsch Country Days festival.

Bob & Linda, thanks for organizing this.
I spoke today with Chris, the owner of Pin Oak Creek. We've known him for about 12 years since we always had at least one campout there every year with the Coachmen Owners' Association group in St. Louis. Pin Oak Creek is a terrific park, and Chris will take good care of you. He's excited about having a FROG group coming.
If you'd like, I can send out an e-mail blast to folks in the St. Louis and surrounding area when we get back next week and let them know about the event.

OK Thank you. I could not associate a name with SBx2 due to my inability to decipher the forum's info. Guess I'll learn how to do that.

Here's another item to consider. Advance tickets through October 1 are $14.50 After October 1 they are $16.00 for seniors and $18.00 for adults. A 20 pack gives only a slight additional break but so far there's no need to consider that.

It doesn't look like a big deal on advance tickets. I just priced two and with tax and mailing it came to $32.50. Two tickets at the gate are $16 each or $32 for two seniors 62+, so no big deal. I don't know if tax will be on top of that. Maybe. Might have to call them to check this.

Sunday night, 11-20-13
We just got home from the FROG Rally (ribbitt, ribbitt) at Pin Oak Creek RV Park, Vista Ridge, MO and took in the Deutsch Country Days at the historic Luxenhaus Farm north of Marthasville, MO.
We started off with a Friday night dinner for eleven FROG folks, provided by Bob & Linda Schwarz consisting of two kinds of warm-your-spirit Taco Soup and chips, onions, cheese, olives, jalapenos, crackers (by Claude and Bobbi), corn muffins and wine (by Carol & Terry) and cookies for dessert.
It turned into an International FROG rally as we had folks from Canada attending. We had seven units in all by Forest River and were sorry to miss those who could not make it due to illness and other circumstances beyond their control.
Saturday morning we caravanned to the Festival by automobile. A chilly cloudy morning turned into a bright sunny day just before 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. What a blast. We watched local artisans making brooms, bread, sorghum, knives, fire (starting by the old hand methods), roasted nuts, apple butter, bows and arrows and on and on. Great lunches cooked by local Boy Scout Troup’s consisted of sliced steak sandwiches, bratwurst, corn on the cob, coffee, hot chocolate, lemonade and many other tasty treats including funnel cakes, potato chips and cookies to die for. Climbing around the quite hilly farm was great exercise but a few were limited and stayed on the lower levels. We left the grounds with our larter about 2:15 p.m. to return to the RV park. That evening we had a hot little fire and a few of us gathered around to discuss topics of interest. We hit the road to go home Sunday about 10:30 a.m. This was a rally worth repeating.
