Elkhart 2012
I know its early.
I see where some of us would be interested in a rally in Elkhart, IN. I would be willing to work on getting one started. I would hope to enlist the help of Bob Fields, RV Guy and whoever else.
We could see about factory tours, have some reps give clinics, etc.
Let me know what everyone thinks and some possible dates.

This is a great idea, count us in and I will try to help if I can in any way. We attended a Coachmen rally in Elkhart many years ago and they gave factory tours. I would love to see the Rockwood factory (of course being a mechanical engineer by trade factories always interest me). For the Coachmen rally I believe they rented out the fairgrounds, I am certain there are plenty of campgrounds around also.
It's never too early to start planning for camping trips.

I'm sure there would be alot of support from Forest River and the Prime Time people would certainly like to be involved.
Hope you can put something together (as long as there is a pot-luck we can come to).

wished I lived closer for something like this - I would be all over it but since I already plan a yearly trip to Virginia and Pennsylvania - I doubt I could get the time off

This should work, after we have the OMI Tadpole rally, we will have to go somewhere else next year. Ohio will have kicked us out. Do you think we can get the Goodyear Blimp lined up? Tentcamper1 was really bummed about the blimp. (check post 59 with OMI mini rally)

LOVE IT! YES!!! Where are we all going to camp? Let's get some dealers involved too. Let's ask FR and see when is a good time to have it.... spring, summer fall?

Sounds like a great idea to me! We can't attend either the FROG or the Tadpole for 2011, so, count us in! 
If we are contacting FR & Prime Time reps, how about contacting some of the Parts/Equipment suppliers as well? (Just a thought...)

Count us in, it is great to see some factory support gathering behind this. We had a great time with the Coachmen Caravan back when we had our Coachmen travel trailer (in the mid 90's). They had a factory get together each year with tours and such.
If there is any help that we can offer, we will assist (we are located in Wauseon, OH, fairly close to Elkhart).
