In addition to registering with Lazy Days, is there anything else that one must do?

Not that I know of. I found the event when I was looking for a campground near Tampa. You can google the Lazydays RV Resort for information. You can call 877 406-8930 and talk to them. This is the Lazydays Resort.

The RV park is a different entrance from the dealership make sure you get the right one. If you are a retired Vet be sure to tell them (and prove it) when you check in and you may get a discount. You fill out the rally info when you check in. Lazy Days gives you a free daily newspaper, coupons for free breakfast and lunch in their cafeteria at the dealership (special menu for that) or you can purchase from the regular menu, they have a shuttle to take you there, and evening dinners are catered (excellent food) with entertainment the last night. A very nice pool and a bar in the meeting building. Great seminars and fun times. There is a Cracker Barrel there also. RV sites are a little tight and you may not be able to fully open your awning and can be a little hard to back into (they are all back ins) because people park their toads in the street and you may have to ask someone to move temporarily.
For more information go this link and click on "Events", several categories . If you aren't a FROG member yet click on "membership" and join with over 50,000 other members. Be sure to sign up here, it's free.

Tom & Renee, unless they've gone like crazy today, I would think we should have a few left. The registration system is down right now at Lazydays, so they're going to check and let me know what's left, if anything. It might be tomorrow morning when they call back.

Glad to hear that you got your site, though.

The lady I spoke with said there were two sites remaining, and she had one person waiting on a return call, and I got the other site. I did get a confirmation email just now. She was having a lot of trouble with her computer getting into their reservation system and never did it going.

Thanks, Tom. They've started closing off some of our other sites since we're getting close to the date, but I just called to check on getting them re-opened. With their reservation glitch, it will probably be tomorrow morning when they call back.

We arrived at Lazy days this afternoon (Site 219) for the rally a few days early trying to escape winter. Unfortunately we didn't quite make it as there are area freeze warning up for tonight and tomorrow. But the day temps will be in the 60's which is much better than the teens & 20's we left in Michigan.

We can see a nice assortment of FR products on display and they even have a small R-Pod village here.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the FROG Rally folk as you arrive.
