Fun In The Sun Rally Hosts

Rick, I just sent you an email.

I heard yesterday and again today from Rick and Deb Smith, hosts of the Florida Fun in the Sun Rally. It sounds as if nearly 80 FROGs are enjoing great fun, wonderful food, and friends old and new in Kissimmee.

Rick will be doing a follow up post to let everyone know how things went. We have locally-organized events coming up in Rising Sun, IN next week; Branson, MO in June; Seaside, OR in August; and things are starting to come together for Texas in October.

We're still looking for folks to step forward and take the lead on other events.

We enjoyed meeting everyone that attended the Kissimmee Rally!! We tried very hard to make everybody a winner at our last dinner on Saturday night. Dee came up with the raffle idea. The hat toss, and the Forest Jump toss was a spur of the moment decision on my part! Clancy - I'm glad you caught a hat!! We learned a lot this first attempt and when we prepare the Fall Florida Rally, we will be better organized and prepared.

I can't thank Ted & Dee Kermode enough for sharing their expertise and ideas, and also to those of you who made suggestions for the future! I'm going to go out on a limb and say that everyone had a good time!

The person who deserves the biggest thanks is Bob Byrne. He was very generous with providing all the FROG goodies and for assisting with the meals and campsites. It's no wonder Forest River hired Bob! He is AWESOME!
